Aaron's POV:
I was about to leave for an urgent meeting when I walked across her room and something inside me told me to stop for a minute and watch her secretly from the back window and as I did, I saw her eyes filled with fear. I can almost hear her heart pounding from this distance. Seeing she possessed no threat, I was about to leave when I stopped right on my tracks as I saw her begin to struggle against the ropes and try freeing her tied hands. I waited to see if she would be successful and to my slight shock, she was. I then watched her run to the door and start fumbling with a hair pin she took out from her hair as she tried unlocking the door. She struggled for a good 10 minutes but then, then she opened it. However now, she had to face my men. As I saw them charge at her, I watched her take a step back and get into position to take their attack and fight back. I knew about her martial arts training so I waited for her to show her skills, I knew she was going to be good but surely she can't fight off 2 men twice her size, right? Wrong. I watched the two parties soon get into a heated battle and she was definitely something else. It felt like my guards were being torn apart like paper by Cassandra, a girl with barely an ounce of muscles. Every time one of them tried to swing at her, she would slip past them with ease, as if she was a ghost, and take them down to the ground. It was almost as if Cassandra wasn't even trying. In fact, she was smiling. The sight of that smile alone was as terrifying as it was mesmerizing. Cassandra was someone who should not be messed with, that much was clear now. She may have defeated two of my men but she wasn't going to defeat me, I could've easily interrupted and fought with her and keep her inside the room but I did. I wanted to give her a false sense of power, a thought that she could escape before I find out what she knows about us. I waited for her to run across the corridor and then make her mind up to pace towards the main direction, the one that led to the main door. This was now going too far, it was now time for me to step in and stop her. I silently followed her all the way until the point where she stopped in front of the main door. This was when I decided to give her a little surprise as I whispered in her ear from the back "Well, well, well if it isn't Miss Cassandra." I spoke in a monotone voice, "it seems you have caused quite a bit of trouble. Did you really think you could fight your way out ?"
