"Would you like some sugar with your tea young lady?" Peter said with a fake British accent as he stared at Morgan, who was sitting down to his left with a posh tone to his voice causing her to giggle while the others in the room chuckled at his antics.

They were all in the little girl's room here at the compound, Pepper and Tony on Morgan's left side, May and Happy to his right and Rhodey sitting across from him.

All of them had migrated to Morgan's room once she had practically stormed out into the living area an hour ago and demanded he play with her.

Claiming he had to make up for missed time.

Who was he to argue with an eight year old, even if he did feel dead on his feet at the moment.

"Yes please good sir." The little girl responded to his question, trying to mimic his accent for herself which made Tony stifle a chuckle of his own, not wanting the ire of his daughter to be turned against him.

She had her mother's temper after all and that was something the man was not looking forward to experiencing in her teenage years...

He may have to recruit the help of Peter when that time came, for he didn't know if he could handle it alone.

Peter grinned down at the little girl beside him before picking up an imaginary cube of sugar and dropping it in her cup of tea, nodding his head resolutely once he accomplished his task.

"There you go young lady, enjoy." Peter said with a flourish to his hand as he leaned down to grab his own cup of imaginary tea to take a sip of the beverage.

Once she watched her brother do so, Morgan copied his movements, with the pinkie out and everything as well.

The adults in the room watched with varying degrees of amusement as they observed the two play tea party together and laugh together for the first time in years.

It was very calming to watch for the five adults within the pink room, to see the most important people in their family bonding once again, the children once again reunited.

It didn't fail to bring smiles to everyone's face.

They all spent the better part of two hours in Morgan's room playing tea party. At the end, the little girl had fallen asleep against her brother's shoulder and Peter himself was starting to drift off into the land of dreams.

As much as they hated to disturb them, they needed answers before Peter went to bed and could dodge their questions later on.

Pepper, ever the businesswoman decided she'd be the first one to start, "Peter, we need to talk." She said softly as to not wake Morgan but firmly all the same.

Peter opened his eyes and looked at them all from his spot leaning his head against the little girls. After a moment of thought, he nodded and raised his head from his sister's to stare at them all.

"I'm all ears." He said just as quietly.

"Peter...what happened?" Tony asked with a frown on his face as he stared at the boy whom he consider a son with saddened eyes, a young man who had changed so much from that boy who was all sunshines and rainbows back before Thanos.

He just didn't understand how someone like Peter, could change so drastically in the span of a few months.

Peter, seeing no way out of explaining what had happened swallowed thickly as he got ready to tell them the truth, the entire truth...

Something that Pepper didn't even know.

"It was my seventeenth birthday, a couple months after Thanos snapped. I had been going out as Spider-Man ever since I could walk again after being stranded in space for a month and I was trying to make a dent in the criminal activity. But...even then, I wasn't enough, I was never enough. They kept coming back, prison couldn't hold on to them with so much still broken with society, drugs were on the rise once more and with every other Vigilante gone, I was by myself trying to stop the entire city from burning down. Everyone just thought it was a free for all, that they could do whatever they wanted and get away with it without repercussions." He admitted softly, absentmindedly curling his fingers in his sister's hair and gently rubbing her scalp, causing her to borrow further into his shoulder which made him smile, Morgan never failing to help calm his mind just a bit.
