*Percy's POV*The whole room was black. No colour at all. Never liked that colour, to dull for my taste. Now if you add a touch of blue and green here and there it would become a masterpiece!
"Hello there Perseus."
I jumped out of my skin. I was too busy thinking about the colour of the room, that I didn't notice the three old wrinkly women standing in the corner.
"Fates," I said as respectfully as I could.
Trust me it was really hard especially after they took me away from my mum and my cookies!
As much as I would of loved to smack each and everyone of them in the face for messing up my life, I wasn't that stupid to be mean to the people who decide my fate and could kill me with a cut of a sting. (Literally that's how they kill people!)
"We are sorry for doing this to you Percy, but your our only hope," all of them said in unison.
Talk about creepy. It's ok when the Stolls do it but when wrinkly hags--- I whacked my forehead. If they ever heard that--- I remembered how scary they looked when we where slaying the Giants. Even Zeus was scared of them.
"What do you need me to do now?" I said irritated.
"We need you help in a war,"
"I'VE ALREADY BEEN IN TWO AND NOW YOU WANT TO SEND ME INTO ANOTHER?!?" I snapped. I was beyond pissed.
"Yes Percy, your there only hope! Your the only one powerful enough to help them! If you don't go many innocent people will die!" All of them yelled.
I felled on my knees. My head looking at the ground.
"Why me?"
"Percy," I looked up at them, "if you do this then we will promise a full and happy future with Annabeth and we will make sure no monsters will go after your children when the time comes."
With a reward like that how could I give it up? I can't picture it now. Me and Annabeth would be happily married and living in New Rome. Our children would play at the beach. The clear blue water twinkling in the light. A gentle breeze flowing on our backs, cooling us from the hot sun rays. My life would prefect.
"What do I have to do?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After explaining what I need to do and who I have to protect I was ready to go, but I need to ask the Fates something first.
"Fates can I ask you something?"
All of them wiped their heads at me at the same time. Creepy.
"Can you tell Annabeth what's going on and tell her I love her."
"Of course Percy, it's what at least we could do. But Percy, time is different in Alagaēsia to Earth," the Fates told me, "The time on Earth is slower then the on Alagaēsia, a year in Alagaēsia is a month on Earth, so don't be worried about going for too long."
"Thank you Fates, I'm ready to go now."
The Fates took a step closer. They raised their boney hands and started enchanting in Ancient Greek.
A ray of power hit me. At first it didn't hurt but it didn't take long for it to become unbearable. It was like Greek Fire mixed with Gorgons blood was poured into my body. Bones cracked and my skin felt like it was stretching out and harding. Just in general it like my whole body was changing.
I knew I was going to pass out soon, but I remembered something.
I never got to eat my blue cookies
The pain became too much, I finally passed out.
*Third Person's POV*
The Fates saw their hero go limp. One of the sisters walked over and enchanted a spell. His body was gone in a flash.
She returned to her sisters looking at them.
"Maybe we should of told him that he would be a dragon."
"No, what's the fun in that? Besides, that's what he gets for calling us creepy old hags."
They grinned at each other and cackled. They left with a flash.
