Harlem Santino"Get in the car."
Capri blinked once and then twice, swallowing thickly he walked around the car and climbed into the passenger seat.
He wanted to be upset with himself for multiple reasons. For one the fact he even took his ass over to her house, two he let her leave a mark on him.
The last reason had him more confused than upset. He felt sick to his stomach seeing that expression on Harlem's face, the disappointment.
Capri never wanted to see that look much less directed at him. He almost felt like a little kid again in trouble with his parents.
Shortly after Capri got into the car Harlem followed. Glancing down check if Capri had his seatbelt on and surprisingly he did. Humming under his breath Harlem started the car.
Pulling back onto the road he steered with one hand firmly placed on the wheel while the other resting on the gearshift like it normally did.
He couldn't fault Capri for going back to her, after all they share a child. That and Capri hadn't had a taste of what being with Lem would be like.
He couldn't stop thinking about that hickey and how badly he wanted to leave two bigger ones on either side just to send Capri back over there.
Harlem frowned, he could vividly see her on top of Cap in his mind soaking up all his groans and moans, feeling his hands hold her body.
He ain't like that too much.
"You good, Lem?" Capri finally spoke up, nervously licking his bottom lip he stared at the side of Harlem's head noting that he would need his hair done soon.
Harlem didn't reply, looking from the corner of his eye.
Lem couldn't help his humorless laugh. "Yea I'm straight."
Thinking back to the phone call he'd had prior to picking Capri up Harlem repeated Court's words in his mind, "And when you see Capri tell him quit running out my shit like the devil chasing him. That girl gon still be there."
Harlem rolled his eyes hard, at the time the comment had gone right over his head. But now Court's words had made perfect sense.
Capri sank back into his seat, removing his eyes from Harlem and staring directly in front of him. Hands fumbling with one of Harlem's many lighters.
The rest of the ride was quiet, Capri occasionally stealing glances.
Entering the house Harlem held the door open for Capri, watching him take off his shoes and start going up to his room without a word. Harlem shook his head looking away from the dark skinned man and back to his task at hand.
Slipping off his own shoes Harlem slowly climbed the stairs holding their now probably cold wings.
The first thing Lem noticed entering his room was Capri sitting on the edge of his bed, hands neatly folded in his lap and eyes focused on the floor intently.
Walking past him Harlem set their dinner down on his desk. Taking a deep breath and crossing his room he stood in front of Capri staring down at him, Capri froze refusing to meet Harlem's eyes.
Sucking his teeth Harlem tilted Cap's head with his pointer finger making the darker man look up with his lip caught between his teeth.
"What you looking like a kicked puppy for, huh?" Harlem hummed, mindlessly tracing his finger over Capri's jawline.
Capri shrugged, he ain't know why he felt the way he felt. He didn't know a lot of things, like why he was letting this grown man stand between his legs and hold his face so gently.
