Harlem Santino"Nigga don't you play college level?" Capri's voice blended with the loud sounds surrounding them.
A stupid big smile on his pretty face as he completely whooped Harlem's ass at Hoops. Harlem rolled his eyes shoving his own smile down and taking a step back.
His arms folded over his chest watching Capri rack up points. He shook his head, somewhat surprised and disappointed in himself.
Lem couldn't stand losing and the fact he was not only letting Cap win but also letting him shit talk his way through it spoke volumes.
"Man hush that mouth, I let one nigga think he can hoop and suddenly he the next big NBA player." Harlem rolled his eyes making Capri laugh and reach over to push his arm.
Eventually Lem was smiling and laughing too, Cap just had that affect he assumed.
"Aight you got yo 5 seconds of fame now I'm trynna gamble at the Coin Pusher. Been waiting all night." Harlem held his hand against the small of Capri's back guiding through the small crowd of small kids and towards the adult section.
"Why you always touchin' me?" Capri mumbled but didn't move Harlem's hand.
Lem chewed the corner of his bottom lip, he had reached the place in his relationship with Cap where he could finally start saying the shit he wanted without trying to decipher if he actually meant it.
"Cause you're mine to touch." Harlem hummed watching as Capri frowned and turned to look at him. For a minute or two they stayed like that, watching each other trying to make out what the other was thinking.
"I ain't nobody's but myself. You love trynna play as my daddy." Cap smacked his lips, ignoring the fluttering in his stomach under Lem's gaze.
He had started picking up on the little gay shit Lem would say to him and it often had the question of all questions on the tip of his tongue.
Harlem didn't say anything in response he only tilted his head and used his pointer finger to rub small circles into the muscular small of Cap's back. His eyes flicking from Capri's lips to the eyes he liked looking into so much.
"Harlem you gay?" Cap blurted out, the second he realized what he had said the dark skinned man's eyes grew double in size.
His lips parted about to take back what he'd just asked but before he could Harlem simply shook his head.
Hand firm and eyes still locked Harlem scanned Cap's confused expression. He wanted to laugh but at the same time he could understand firsthand how confusing it was.
Finally taking his hand away Harlem sat down at the coin pusher, setting up and swiping his card beginning the game.
Capri watched from his right, standing close enough to smell his delicious cologne.
He watched closely as each coin Lem put into the top slot dropped and slowly inched a bunch of coins closer to the ledge.
"This shit is mad boring, Lem. We could really be playing those shoot out games or one of them racing games." Capri whined, putting his hand down on the side of the machine leaning his body towards Harlem who blissfully ignored him.
Harlem had figured out that if Capri was one thing and one thing only it was that he is a brat.
Furrowing his brows and concentrating Harlem slipped another coin into the top slot watching as it finally pushed a big group of coins off the ledge and into the drop down below.
"Now that's what I'm talmbout." He grinned to himself, lookin' like goofy ass Greg. Cap watched the big man smile and damn near giggle, he had to force down the smile he felt threatening to come out.
