8. puppy love

Taehyung and Jungkook found themselves at a local park on a bright, sunny day. They had decided to spend some time outdoors.

Jungkook grinned "Aren’t you tired?"

"No, we just started walking kook"

"it's just that you’ve been running through my mind all day." he teases as Taehyung couldn't help but roll his eyes at Jungkook's constant flirting.

"kook, do you ever turn it off?"

Jungkook chuckled, undeterred.
"Why would I when I have such a gorgeous omega by my side?"

Taehyung sighed dramatically. "You're impossible."

As they strolled through the park, they suddenly came across an adorable dog, alone and looking rather forlorn. Taehyung's heart went out to the abandoned pup, and he knelt down to pet it gently.

"Poor thing," Taehyung murmured. "I wonder where its owner is."

Jungkook crouched down beside Taehyung, his eyes softening as he watched Taehyung interact with the dog. "It's a shame when people abandon their pets like this."

Taehyung nodded in agreement, his fingers gently scratching behind the dog's ears. "I wish we could do something to help."

Jungkook reached out to pet the dog as well, his voice gentle. "Maybe we can. Let's see if there's a collar with a phone number or something."

They checked the dog's collar but found no identification. Taehyung sighed, feeling a pang of sadness for the lost pup. "We should at least get it something to eat."

They headed to a nearby shop and bought some dog biscuits. As they walked back to the park, Jungkook glanced at Taehyung, his eyes filled with admiration. "You have a kind heart, Taetae."

Taehyung blushed, feeling both flattered and shy. "It's the least we can do kookie."

Back at the park, they fed the dog the biscuits, watching as it wagged its tail and devoured the treats. Taehyung played with the pup, tossing a ball and laughing as it chased after it. Jungkook watched them both, his heart feeling strangely warm.

"You really have a way with animals, Tae," Jungkook remarked.

Taehyung grinned, his eyes never leaving the dog. "Animals are easy to understand. People, on the other hand..."

Jungkook chuckled, a playful glint in his eye. "People are a bit more complicated, huh?"

Taehyung nodded, feeling a sense of ease as they continued to play with the dog. It was a simple but joyful moment, and Taehyung couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of the day and the company of the charming alpha beside him.

As the sun began to set, they sat together on a park bench, watching the colors of the sky change. The silence between them was comfortable, and Taehyung felt a growing sense of affection for Jungkook.

Finally, Jungkook broke the silence, his voice soft and sincere. "Tae, I... I really enjoy spending time with you."

Taehyung turned to look at Jungkook, his heart skipping a beat. "I too like spending time with you kook."

Their eyes met, and in that moment, there was something unspoken between them.

As they headed back to their dorms, their steps light and their hearts full, they knew that their journey was far from over, and the adventures and moments they would share were something to look forward to.
