11. purest soul

The next morning, Taehyung woke up, nestled comfortably against Jungkook. He couldn't help but smile as he traced patterns on the alpha's handsome face with his fingertips, his heart brimming with emotions.

Jungkook stirred, his eyes fluttering open. He smiled at Taehyung, his voice warm and gentle. "morning taetae"

"How are you feeling?"

Taehyung couldn't help but feel a rush of affection as he looked into Jungkook's eyes. "I'm feeling better, thanks to you kook."

Jungkook's smile widened as he pulled Taehyung closer. "I'm glad to hear that. You had me worried, you know."

"sorry for the way I behaved kook" Taehyung hesitated for a moment before he finally gathered the courage to speak his mind. "there's something I need to tell you."

Jungkook looked at him with genuine curiosity. "What is it, Tae?"

Tears welled up in Taehyung's eyes as he confessed, "I've been avoiding you because... because I'm scared."

Jungkook's brows furrowed with concern. "Scared? Of what?"

Taehyung took a deep breath, his voice trembling. "I'm scared because I've always been a nerd, immersed in my art, while you've always been social and charming. Everyone swoons over you, kook, and I'm just... me."

Jungkook's eyes softened as he cupped Taehyung's cheek, wiping away a tear with his thumb. "Taehyung, you are so much more than that. You're incredibly talented and so beautiful. And you are unique in your own way."

Taehyung couldn't help but get emotional. "But, kook, I've never felt like I could measure up to you. I'm just too different."

Jungkook held him closer, his voice filled with sincerity. "Tae, I fell for you way before we even met in person. I first saw you in the park, completely immersed in your sketching, totally unaware of your surroundings. It was then that I fell for the beautiful omega. You looked so pure and serene and after spending time with you I did realise that are truly a purest soul."

Taehyung's eyes widened with surprise while his cheeks tint rosy at the alpha's confession."You noticed me back then?"

Jungkook nodded, his gaze unwavering. "Yes, Tae, I did. And I've never felt a connection with anyone else like I do with you."

Taehyung's heart swelled with a mix of emotions. He couldn't believe that Jungkook had seen something in him even before they had officially met.

Jungkook continued, his voice filled with conviction. "You don't have to compare yourself to anyone, Tae. You are the most captivating person I've ever known. I've fallen for you, not in spite of your differences, but because of them."
