Addin stood on the couch more like struggling and swaying, trying to balance himself.
" NOOR ADDIN SHAHHHHHH " he slurred yelling out my name. His been doing this since 5 minutes now.
I was standing near him but not on the couch ofcourse on the floor, holding my forehead in frustration. I tried to tell him that I'm here several times, but his beyond drunkhead couldn't understand or even recognise me.
" NOOR ADDINNN SHAHHHHHHHH! WHERE ARE YOU ? " he slurred yelled again.
" ADDIN STOP THIS AND GET DOWN NOW !! " I screamed at him, cupping my waist with my hands and glaring at him hard.
" SHUT THE FUCK UPPP ! IM CALLING MY WIFEEEE, I miss herrrr sooooooo muchhhhh " he shouted back slurring but his tone got soft at the end. He pouted his lips like a small babie, his soft front locks falling over his drowsy barely open eyes. I couldn't help but stare at him. He looked so adorable.
" BUTTERCUPPPPPPP WHERE ARE YOU?? " his screaming broke my 'staring at my adorable yet annoying drunk husband' session.
Huffing out a breath of frustration, I held his palm in my mine and tried pulling him down.
" get down Addi— " I started but was cut off by his loud yelling.
" DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME !!!! " he jerked his hand away from me in speed of light as if my touch burned him, and I flinch a little due to his sudden action.
He suddenly stumbled down the couch, almost falling. I forward my hands as a reflex, trying to hold his shoulders to make him steady but he glared at me with his red drowsy eyes, moving back and balancing himself.
" only my Noorrrrrrrr has all the rightssss.. to touchhhh me, YOU LADY STAYYYY FUCKING AWAY FROM ME SHOO SHOOO " he slurred some words, hiccuping in between and yelling some as well. I didn't say anything I just looked at him, without blinking.
" you see this." He murmured softly forwarding his hand, smiling. I glanced at his wrist which had a silver coding bracelet wrapped around it.
" She gifted me thissss...4 years backkkk..on my birthdayyy...saying it's a reminderrrr for me that I'm herssss. Addin is only Noor's. " He told me hiccuping, smiling and chuckling in between. A lone tear escaped from my eyes on its own.
" See it has herrr nameee N - o - o - r ' s " he spelled out, forwarding his wrist infront of me, and I got a clear view of the letters dangling on the bracelet.
No way! He was wearing the bracelet I gifted him all this while? I mean I did notice few times that he always wore a silver wrist bracelet but I didn't keenly see it or didn't give it much attention as I didn't expect it to be the bracelet which I gifted him 4 years back!
My heart skipped several beats, as tears welled up in my eyes, few cascading down my cheeks.
Was he really wearing it all these years?
" You knowww it was the besttttt birthdayyyyy of my life...because she was there with me." he happily said giggling.
" Did..did you wear.. this bracelet all these years?" I questioned him shuttering, my tear filled eyes fixed on the bracelet.
" Ofcourseeeeee!!! This was the only thing which kept me alive all these yearssss. Whenever i used to miss her, I would justttt simply hug this bracelet close to myyy chest..though it still didn't take away the pain I felt but it did sooth me and made me feel a little betterrr." He was grinning at the started, but then his tone became a little sad at the end.
