What I love about this scene is how quickly Frodo rushes to Sam, and his face of fear of them getting caught, but it never crosses his mind to leave Sam. If Sam got caught so would Frodo, because they're in this together. (We're ignoring the part where the ring clouds his judgment). Like look at Frodo's puppy eyes here, he's scared and trying his best to figure out a way to get them out of this situation (which he does) but I just love it, because this scene shows that like with Sam following Frodo through the water where he can't swim, Frodo would also put himself in danger to save and be with Sam.
