What's Happened?

Percy's POV:

"PERSEUS JACKSON COME HERE RIGHT NOW!" I heard right outside my door.

"Five more minutes!" I groaned.

"5. 4. 3. 2." Annabeth started.

"Okay, okay! I'm up!" I jumped out of bed and ran to the door, completely forgetting I'm still in my Finding Nemo pajamas.

Leo whistled. "Nice outfit, dude."

I glared playfully and walked back inside to change. When I got in my normal clothes, CHB and faded jeans, I walked to the Dining Pavilion.

I sat down at the Poseidon table, got my blue pancakes, and got my blue cherry coke.

As I was eating, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Thalia.

"What're you doing here, Pinecone Face?" I asked.

"Well, Kelphead. You slept through the horn sounding, acknowledging the Hunter's arrival." She stated.

"Cool. Well, nice to see you, cuz." I smirked.

"Yeah. You... too." She walked over to the other hunters. Apparently I have gotten quite famous around them. Or infamous? One of the two.

When I was done eating, I started to walk to the beach, but was stopped by Chiron.

"Come to the Big House." He said, then trotted away.

When I got there, the Seven, Thalia, and Nico were there.

"Sooo.... Why're we here?" I asked.

"To discuss some..." Chiron cleared his throat. "Some important details about the world."

"Okay...?" We all said.

"You see, I have a cousin. Her name is Silveny. She has told me of an item very valuable to us. But it is kept in the possession of five other species. Those species, I will not tell you. You will have to figure out on your own. There is a quest, yes. But it is optional. You may decide over the next few days." He explained.

"Wow." I breathed.

We headed to the beach.

"So, are we gonna take on this quest or let someone else do it?" Jason asked.

"Maybe we should. We could learn what these species are." Piper reasoned.

"How about we think about it for the rest of the day and come back to it tomorrow afternoon?" Annabeth suggested.

"Sounds good! See ya later!" Leo jogged off toward Bunker Nine.

I walked towards Annabeth. "Hey, Wisegirl?"

"Yeah, Seaweed Brain?" She looked at me.

"Wanna go to a park or something?"

"Sure!"

We started to walk there. When we reached the park, we played on the swings for a little while.

After a couple minutes, I saw a monster go into the Empire State Building.

"Hey Annabeth?" I called.

"What?"

"There's a monster in the Empire State Building."

We ran to the building. When we got there, I took out my sword.

"Perce, where?" Annabeth asked.

"Ohh... uh... he he. The elevator guy kinda looked like one... heh." I laughed nervously.
