"You don't have to say sorry, you didn't do anything" I calmed down wiping my tears away, this is not a time for getting all emotional not until it's over.
"Yeah that's why, I didn't do anything but not anymore " That's what he said and he went to his room and closed his door.
For a few hours, we can hear him talking and shouting on his phone rushing out and going in and shutting his room door it was a cycle of his actions.
We could not take it anymore " Let's just see what's his up to," Kim said to me and I nodded.
The moment we went in, it was a full shocking view he had nearly four to five monitors and a few people were on a video call or something and they all were doing something and talking on their headphones.
Kevin saw us "Perfect I'm going to call you here you are let me introduce you to my people, guys this is KIM and ROSE" They all waved their hands. Kevin turned towards us " And those are my friends who are going to help you" he said
Kim and I were confused he saw that " I have an Idea about what to do but don't know if it works or not " Kevin said
"About what? " Kim Questioned him
"Seems like it's better to show you," he said "See this Hard disc this thing going to help you guys, It was the result of what we have been doing for years"
"The thing is, There's gonna be a Cyber security competition called 'COCO', So far it's the biggest competition in this field and we are participating in it. The main Key in this competition is time, we have to hack the other security systems and have to destroy it as fast as possible. at the same time we have to maintain our security system to not get hacked. If we get hacked then we are out of the Game. The one who can stay till the end will win" Kevin explained
"Ok...Good but what does that have anything to do with us" Kim asked Kevin frustratingly
"Hold your nerves, Idiot, I and these guys have created a program that can hack any kind of security system within minutes but it's still not fully programmed yet so we created an alternative algorithm"
"Are you saying we can hack those 'HUNTERS' with this" I asked him grabbing that hard disc
"Not sure but maybe it's not impossible. For that we have to risk a little bit " Kevin said
His words are like a ray of Hope how can I say those are like strength to find a way to my unknown path?
"I will do it. Whatever the cost is I will do it" I said
"We will do it, " Kim said holding my hand
"well don't be that dramatic all you guys have to do is make your Ex log into his account and make sure you have to be within feet distance with his laptop also he has to be online at least for a few minutes, rest we can manage," Kevin said and he looked at Kim " I don't want my friend to fight alone either," he said
Kim hugged Kevin "Thanks, man..."
"Woah woah hold on seems like you are going to ask my hand for a marriage " Kevin teased him
Kim pushed Kevin and they both started laughing
"Thanks, Kevin, it's a lot more than you think," I said I meant it
He waved his hands " It's not much, I'm just testing my program "I smiled at his shy awkwardness response
