Eadlyn's POV
This first thing I see when I wake up is Kile's smiling face. It was 7 o'clock, and he was sound asleep. I decided not to wake him up because we have nothing planned for today.
I change into a really big t-shirt and pants. I really did not want to put a dress or skirt on today, and it was just more comfortable wearing this because I was pregnant. This was the first time in a long while that I wore pants. I brushed my teeth, put my hair up, and slipped on my black converse. It was a little difficult having to lean over on a big belly and put on shoes, but I managed. I can't remember the last time I wore sneakers. I remember I had insisted on buying these to Mom, and she argued I would barely wear them. I guess she was right, but they were good to have.
I opened and shut the door quietly, hoping I wouldn't wake Kile. I went downstairs to breakfast and saw that Dad and Mom were there.
"Sorry I forgot to give you your gift last night, love. Mom also has something for you, too. We'll go get them from our rooms now. Stay here," Dad said.
"Okay," I replied.
After waiting a few minutes, they finally came back.
"Here you go," Dad said, handing me a box in wrapping paper. I unwrapped it, opened the box, and gasped. I started laughing. It was that picture of me and Kile in the gardens kissing when he proposed to me. It was actually a pretty good picture.
"Thank you Dad," I said.
"You're welcome, Eady. I told you that you would thank me for that picture later," he responded.
"Eadlyn, this is your gift from me," Mom said as she handed a big box. I opened it and saw the most beautiful tiara I have ever laid eyes on. There was also a diamond necklace, earnings, and diamond high heels. I was not expecting that from Mom.
"Oh my gosh, Mom. Everything's so beautiful. Thank you so, so much," I said.
"You're welcome, Eadlyn. Usually I don't give these kind of things, so don't expect it from me again," she said laughing.
I laughed, too. "Don't worry, Mom. I was not planning on it."
I finished my breakfast and headed back to my room. I opened the door slowly incase Kile was still slipping. He was, so I walked quietly. I stepped on an old floorboard, and the floor creaked. He woke up.
This is why I could never be a spy.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," I said.
"It's fine. I'm not that tired. And wow. You're actually wearing pants!"
"Yeah, I just wanted to wear comfortable clothes today."
"You should wear them more often. They're a good look for you. Not that your other looks aren't good, it's just that this one- you know what I mean," he said.
I laughed. "Thanks, Kile. I do know what you mean."
He stood up from the bed. He only slept in his boxers now, which I didn't have a problem with. He is the most muscular person I have ever seen.
He put on a T-shirt and basketball shorts.
"Do you want to just watch TV all day?" I asked.
"That sounds great," he responded.
We went to the movie theater in the palace, and we watched most of season 1 of Pretty Little Liars. At 11:30 we decided to go to bed.
When we got in bed, I said, "Today was nice."
He smiled. "Yeah, it was."
I kissed him good night and fell asleep.
