"Thank you so much auntie" Scara watched the twins on the cough in his auntie's livingroom, Lynette watching Lyney performing some magic tricks. Nahida chuckled.

"No worry, with kids or not, you two need your time alone. More staying with your friends you shouldn't be forced to watch over them." The dark haired man nodded.

"Is all it's been a while since i let them out of sight..." Nahida reassured.

"Is ok, they are in good hands, now go have fun!" She said slighly nudging him. Scara shook his head, going to his husband's car.

"Be sure to not give Lynette sweets before bed, only milk!" He said as Kazuha tried to hold on a laugh. Scara gave him the side eye. "What are you laughing at?" The freckled man finally let out the laugh as he started heading to the road.

"You really think she will listen?" Scara looked aside.

"I am still saying it-" he said as he looked at his shirt.

"It's been a while you dressed to get out, no?" The dark haired man nodded.

"Well, we didn't got a chance until Heizou suggested to go..." Kazuha puffed as he tried to hold on a cough. Scara looked at him with norrow eyes. "How come you come down with a cold so often?" The gardener boy froze for a second, his eyes still on the road.

"I don't know, maybe i just got more prone to those?" Scara rolled his eyes as he spottet Kuki and Heizou's car in the parking lot.

"I see we didn't got there first..." Kazuha looked smug as he parked the car near his friend's.

"Well, we can still be the first sure what to order at the tavern, no?" He said as he took the keys out of the car and walked out of it with his husband.

"Yeah, yeah, not to sure of that one either." Scara puffed. He didn't look tense, it seemed a friendly competition for him. The two walked in as they immediately spotted Venti on the front desk, behind which was sitting Diluc.

"Venti! It's been a while!" Kazuha rushed to the front as the bard turned his look.

"Dear old friend, long time no see, ehe~! Heizou said you two will come!" Scara puffed.

"White bitter wine... please?" He said as Diluc took a bottle from the shelf and poured the liquid into it, mixing diligently with some syrup. Venti turned his gaze back to Kazuha, sighing.

"Let me quess, parenting?" The man nodded.

"Yeah, the two are just menaces, of course, lovable ones, but haw had you been, last tome was at the wedding! We meet Lumine ten years ago, since yesterday was twins' birthday... it's been a while, what changed?" The bard dramatically jumped off the counter.

"Well, to my dismay... we have a kid-" Scara chocked on the wine on his way to the corner of the tavern where he noticed his friends, to look at Venti.

"Well- ... congrats?" Venti puffed.

"Eh, it's been nine years, now go, we shall talk later, dear friends~" he said as he started another tune as Diluc handed Scara some sake.

"I won't even ask." The redhead bar tender said as he turned to cleaning some glasses and Kazuha took the glass and walked to his friends' table.

"So here you come, dear friend~" Kuki turned her look for a second before going back on talk with Scara.

"Here I am, who would've quessed..."

Scara looked around annoyed. Kazuha had "gone to the bathroom" for nearly an hour and a half. He got slushed, that's for sure. Kuki was sitting annoyed beside a half passed out Heizou and the two could understand each other from the looks.

"I think we will have to end it here..." Kuki said as she took her husband on her back. "Good seeing you, Scara, we may take our leave, we have to go home now, hopefully Itto and Gorou had taken good care of our boy..." she said as she waved Venti as she left the tavern. Diluc rolled his eyes.

"The tavern shall close soon, you two are the last here" he turned to Scara as he rolled his eyes and stood up to go take his husband from the bathroom when he was on his way to the tavern entrance.

"Come on, you slob-" he said taking his arm on his neck and waved to the two before exiting the tavern as well. He sat on a bench near their car. He had a driving licence, but he was not about to put his skills to the test.

Kazuha rested his head on Scara's shoulder. The dark haired man looked at him: red eyes, high pulse and a herbal scent was barely noticeable under the strong scent of alcohol. Kazuha looked asleep and for a moment Scara puffed as he gazed up at the sky, like he was frozen in time. He smiled. He missed those times. He turned his look to his husband as the time started ticking again and his bubble shattered. Kazuha was not breathing.
