Chapter 2 | The summer rain will keep it alive

Scara kept his yes closed as Collei applied his makeup.

"That's done!" He opened his eyes and smiled to her. "Do you like it, brother?" Scara looked in the mirror to see the two red highlights of red done perfectly and some addings done by the artist.

"That is actually perfect. Especially the little heart under the eye." He said as he gently touched it on his upper cheek area. The girl smiled.

"Thank you! I wanted to so it for Tighnari too but him and Cyno didn't wanted a wedding party to begin with,  they only had the papers signed then we went to a restaurant." She sigh. Scara checked. 

"Well, you had a chence now, no?" Collei smiled as Scara raised his look when Raiden and Sara entered the room. The man greeted them as they were followed in by Tighnari, holding Iris.

"How is it going?" Raiden came in, looking smug. Scara looked annoyed at her.

"Well obviously pretty good untill you dragged your girlfriend along." Sara looked embarrassed to the side. Tighnari rolled his eyes.

"Enough of the useless sibling fights. Kuki and I will take from here with the jewelry." Raiden's eyes widen. Scara looked smug.

"But you said i will pick your earrings!" Kuki and Gorou came in with a jewelry box looking confused at each other. The man held Candy and shook his head.

"Well Scara asked all of us with something,  he asked Tighnari just for opinion and mainly with the bouquet so i believe you are still helping with that."

"See, sis. Read some book, maybe those will help ur lack of understanding-" he stopped as he noticed Tighnari's gaze. "Point taken..."

"Look, i know is your wedding, but since you personally invites me and Collei and as a package deal the rest of my family,  i would preffer to keep those arguments as limited as possible." Kuki sigh.

"Ok, let's get started with the necklace and earrings then, Raiden." The girl came close to the box looking smug as shd caught Sara's hand. The three looked in the box for a second before Sara caught look of a nice navy blue diamond pair of earrings.

"What about these?" Kuki nodded.

"They may contrast the eyeliner pretty well, now let's see if we can match them with any necklace... maybe this one?" She said as she picked a simple and elegant golden necklace. Raiden puffed.

"That is Miko's! Did she really placed in there with the intention?" Sara shrugged.

"Well you agreed to place the jewelry there since a while so i believe yes, she wouldn't have made such a choice by mistake. Like Beidou put the earrings."

Gorou passed the three and looked as Scara was looking in the mirror.

"Do you like the costumes... dress... i picked?" The man turned smiling.

(For reference, it looks close enough to Lyney's clothes, but all white, i may draw it in a later chapter :3)

"It is literally what i was having in mind. Not dress, but not costumes, ... not to mention the leg straps~" Tighnari turned his head from the bouquet. Gorou blinked a couple times.

"You plan to do something precisely after the wedding?" Scara looked smug, as a yes.

"I do not know how you did with your weddings..." he turned to Gorou's ear. "Exept Tighnari's and Cyno's,  but Kazuha insisted the first time will be AFTER the wedding!" Gorou looked very surprised as he flickered his ears.

"Wait, you two hadn't... yet?" Scara shook his head then held the straps looking smug.

"But that's about to change~"

Kazuha sat on his chair, looking at the clock.

"Yo man really takes his time to dress up!" Itto finished another box of apple juice and tosed it into the trash can. Heizou puffed.

"I remember Kuki and Gorou took just as long~" Cyno held Heaven as he tried to ran from his arms.

"Yeah, Nari told me. I had some luck we were on a rush and he didn't had time for all that." Kazuha chuckled. 

"I remember miss Nahida was so upset she couldn't make it to the restaurant event since she had a seninar and Scara tried to make her go since he wanted to meet up with Collei and neithr of us had a car by then."

"Spraking of them, I heard the mothes are not with Scara?" Heizou asksd as he took out his chewing gum.

"We all meet in the backyard of my and Tighnari's house by six, since he insisted on making the flower sets and what not. Rosaria may come a couple minutes latet as she said she had some stuff at the church." Heizou looked smug.

"Good thing i remembered Kaeya had an aquentace at the churce... even if it is though some reckless stuff he does." Kazuha raised an eyebrow. 

"What does that supposed to mean?" The man looked in down as he noticed Heaven came to him. Cyno give him a thumbs up as he can pick him up.

"Well, let's say before he setteled with his now boyfriend he had some 'adventures' with her and they have a kid." Itto choked on his juice.

"Kaeya, has a kid?! No way, compadre!" Cyno nodded.

"I did saw her once, i heard she stays sometimes with him and Albedo and once when he came to pick him from work he got her along. I believe her name is Rose." Kazuha looked perplexed.  "She stays mostly with Barbara tho, she and her friend,  Noelle that work with us take care of her."

"Damn, that's crazy!" Itto wipped the juice off him with a paper towel. He then turned to Kazuha. "So, what time is it?" The groom looked at the watch on his wrist. His eyes came out of their sockets as he nearly fell down the chair.

"It is five fifty-five!" Cyno caught his son from Kazuha then Heizou signaled all of them to get out of the house.

"Everyone in the car! The bride is the one supposed to let himself waited, not the groom!"

I personally hc Nahida and Tighnari as close friends,  that's y in book 1 he was Scara's teacher, Nahida recommended him as substitute teacher there. Also Scara sees Collei as his little sister since lore wise they had both been affected by dottore and i see him having some must protecc older brother aura around her :3
