Scara waved at his daughter as they rushed in their class. Lyney took her seat taking off the bow in her hair once more and trowing it in her bag before looking around the class. Lynette sat on her seat holding her tail and rest her head on the desk sighing.
"Where is Ajax? And Yoimiya?" Lyney looked sadded in the class, not spotting his friends. Lynette ignored the question and flickered her ears and nearly felt off the chair as she felt a hand touching them.
"You have ears too?" A new girl was standing next to Lynette looking curious. "Ough, i only have tails..." she waved her two cat tails and hold, patting them. Lyney caught eye of the new classmate and narrowed his eyes.
"Why are you messing with my sister you *****?" Lynette looked in disbelief to her sister.
"Lyney- you promised not to use such words!" The girl rolled her eyes.
"Pft, relax, mom won't know-" she turned het look to the girl. "Who do you think you are? Touching my sister's ears?" The girl continued to pat her tails.
"I am Kirara, i just got transferred here, and i wasn't trying to make anyone uncomfortable, i get my tails touched all the time so i thought-" Lyney interrupted her.
"That you could go around touch my sister's ta-"
"Lyney! I can take care myself with this... she had no clue..." she hugged her tail resting her head back to the desk and looked at Kirara. "Is ok, she just means good..." she looked at the girl spotting her human ears. "But how come you have two tails but no ears?" Kirara shrugged.
"I don't know, but it isn't fair... but i have cat ears too!" She pointed at her hair clips with ears. Lynette smiled.
"Well, those look good on you." Lyney calmed down and got back to her sassy self.
"So, two cats in class!" Kirara looked at her like the argument before never happened.
"Sure do!" The teacher snapped her fingers a couple times before the kids all looked at her. Kirata waved and dashed to het seat, wagging her tails.
"Good morning, class!"
"Good morning, teacher!" The kids said as Lyney keep looking around, not spotting his friends.
"Today we have two announcements because the class starts. One of the is that we have a new classmate, you might've noticed. Kirara just joined us at the middle of the third grade." The girl gladly waved as the teacher called out her name. "Would you like to tell us some stuff about yourself?" The girl nodded exactly and stood up.
"My name is Kirara, I am nine years old and i have cat tails!" She wagged them as Lynette looked surprised at the excitement she was showing her feline features to the whole class. "Also my parents travel all over the place and i changed school each year, but hope i will make great memories with you all!" The teacher smiled as the girl sat down, wagging her tails and moving her tiny legs under the desk.
"We greet you warmly and hope you will enjoy your stay in our class." She then turned to the class. "The other news is that our othet classmates, the Kamysato twins, Ajax and Yoimiya had moved out and are no longer attending our school" Lyney's eyes widen and the look on his face changed from excited to upset. Lynette looked at her sister as she sadly rested her head on her arms with a long sigh and a mumble.
"Seems i shall grow out of this..."

So, the chapters length fluctuate more, aren't as constant and long, it is juts 'cause i feel more comfortable writing shorter chapters if i simply wanna put a scene and don't feel obligated to reach the 800+ word count anymore, hope is ok for you <3
