( FAYE )"why are you my comfort person" i squint my eyes at finn as he attempts to juggle a bunch of paper balls around, failing miserably by falling on his ass while trying to do so.
"come on! this is supposed to cheer you up"
"no, this is making me feel worse actually" i laugh.
he gasps, pointing at me. "you laughed! see, it works"
a smile creeps its way onto my face due to his desperate attempts at making me feel better.
i extend out my arms, grinning as he immediately rushes onto the mattress and jumps into my embrace.
"you'll get over this faye, you just need some time"
i scoff at his words. "yeah, totally. getting over the biggest part of my life? pfft, no biggie"
he emits a sigh at my sarcasm before pulling away from my hold to grasp his phone.
i narrow my eyes at him. "what are you doing?"
"party"
a long sigh emerges from my lips. "okay yeah, great, let's go to a party, one of the things i hate most in life, that'll cheer me up"
"well i'm getting real tired of you being all sad, it's making me sad" he pokes my cheek, causing me to slap his hand away.
"no. i'm not going"
"well quite frankly my dear, you don't have an option"

the reek of alcohol surrounds the dim lit area, my eyes darting from one stranger to the other, contemplating on how i can increase my socialness for this one night.
finns reassuring hand on my shoulder somewhat calms my nerves. however, that seems to be temporary as he's immediately dragged away by a group of people.
the music is atrocious, i swear my eardrums are on the verge of breaking apart. i take a stroll around the house, retching at the sight of straight people frenching one another on every surface i encounter.
i finally come across an empty room, perceiving a massive couch. although this room didn't smell any less like liquir, atleast it was unoccupied.
