NEW YORK CITY
ATHENA HIT HER FIST AGAINST THE HORN ON THE STEERING WHEEL. The lights and sirens blaring from the SUV. "Do you know what the sirens mean?!" Athena yelled at the car in front of her. "It means move, not stop!" hitting the blinker and overtaking the car.
Her phone rang from the pocket of her leather jacket. She reached into her pocket well, keeping her eyes on the road. The phone stopped ringing. She glanced at the screen quickly: No Service. "I hate this city so much" She mumbled.
Athena arrived back at the headquarters and rushed into the building. "Athena!" Emily called, "Thank God you're alright. Where were you?"
"Uh, traffic" She replied quickly. "What's going on? Where's everyone?"
"Morgan, Gold, and JJ are alright, but there's no word from Hotch" Spencer answered. Garcia spoke up from the laptop next to them.
"The bomber! The bomber!" She exclaimed. "Derek's chasing after him!"
"What?"
"The bomb. It was in Kate's SUV or under it. Hotch is out there with her" The blonde quickly explained to the agents. "He seems okay, but she looks really hurt, he hasn't moved her"
"Where was Kate's SUV parked?" Rossi asked her.
"Two blocks east of Federal Plaza" Spencer quickly stepped over to the map.
"Two blocks east and they target Kate's SUV?" Prentiss questioned with a confused tone.
"Have you ID'd the bomber?" Carter asked Penelope.
"Uh, L-Lisa's running him and dead guys through ViCAP"

"Morgan's safe" Prentiss told the rest of the team holding her phone to her ear.
"This is the UnSub Morgan chased into the subway. This is the one Prentiss shot. Garcia's running them through ViCAP" Spencer answered putting the men's picture on the board.
"These are smart, well-educated kids handpicked and trained to be martyrs" Carter explained with a sigh. "They're not going to be on any government file, and they won't have rap sheets"
"Hotch and Kate are at Saint Barclay's hospital" JJ said walking into the room.
"How are they?" Rossi questioned from his seat.
"Well, Hotch is in the ER, and Kate's in surgery"
"The media's reporting this as a failed attack on 26 Federal Plaza" Gold chimed in looking up from the laptop.
