A/N: Hi, this is my book that is set around 10 years after the events of book 15 in the wings of fire series. There are 6 main POV's with an exeption of the prolouge/epilouge. Please like and read my stories if you enjoy it and feel free to comment!

Also I wrote this with my best friend Lauren (@laureonge) so credits to her and go check out her account.

Qibli

Creeping vines and other tropical plants grab at my wings determined to make me fall. I clutch the small wrapped box in my talons tightly hoping that I won't drop it as I weave through outstretched branches.

If it wasn't for Moon, I would never set foot in the rainforest. It always makes my wings itch to spread out and glide freely and the insects always fly up my nose. But I still do the hot sticky trek twice a week just to see her. And today, her birthday is no different.

When I finally spot her home I land (more like crash) on the platform. Moon's house where she lives with her mother is two stories, one on the ground at the edge of the Nightwing village and the leafy top floor where Moon is today, basking in the sun.

Somehow the sun makes her smooth ebony scales look like they're made of liquid night. My heart pounds loudly when she looks up at me with her gorgeous forest-green eyes.

"Qibli!" Moon grins, rushing over toward me.

I nudge her horns with mine affectionately and smile back.

"Happy birthday Moon," I say, handing her her present.

"You remembered!" she beams gratefully.

"Of course, I did," I laugh. "Well, are you gonna open it?" I ask, gesturing toward the box.

Moon carefully unwraps the gift and opens the box, she gasps when she sees the silver necklace sitting snugly in the box, buried in layers of orchid leaves. She smiles and turns around and I carefully clasp the necklace around her neck, the shining moon pendant sits just under her throat, resting on her heart.

"Three moons Qibli, thank you so much it's beau-" she begins to say but then she frowns, concern etching her forehead.

"What's wrong? Do you not like it?" I ask, slightly hurt.

"No, it's not that, I just-"

All of a sudden she groans and clutches her head in pain, I rush forward and catch her when she faints. Another vision. They're becoming more and more frequent recently so I know what to do. I lie her down in a hammock and wait to see her vision go cloudy and far away like they usually do when she gets a vision. But to my surprise, her dark green eyes lurch open and words tumble out as if someone is speaking through her.

After 10 years of an era of peace, Pyrrhia as we know it will cease.

With past leaders as the final jury, Claws will bear revenge and fury.

Two brothers must unite, find each other in the land of rain.

To bring darkness and light, And break the rein.

Six dragonets will fight in a dangerous war, Ice, Rain, Night, Sky, Sea, and Sand.

A kingdom will fall to fire and gore, but all will fight for a united stand.

Beware the dragon not as they seem, An endless night time of pretend,

A loss of a friend, And the end of a dream.

A dragon of deep evils, banished to a lonely prison

In young minds he weevils, until he's finally arisen

A child of the sea will rise the lost, and bring upon a deadly cost,

But the dragon of sea will bring the light, and leaders will fall after a final flight.

My face pales in horror. And I shake my head in disbelief. Carefully I place a damp palm leaf on Moon's forehead and brush the beads of perspiration off her scales.

Dread fills my chest and I feel sick,

The next great prophecy... this one might finally destroy Pyrrhia as we know it...
