A/N: Okay let me clear up some things that have happened in the past two weeks. Bamboo and Blizzard have begun dating. Blizzard's wounds are slowly healing but he can only train a little bit in case he slows the healing process. Ok all done, you can read now!!😮🫨

I was having a great dream about an all-you-can-eat fish buffet so of course someone had to ruin it. This fat fishhead just so happened to turn up and interrupt my peaceful slumber. Soon my dream shifted from a table of fish to a series of jagged snowy peaks, somewhere in the Ice Kingdom that I hadn't been to before.

"Whoah, whoah, whoah." I begin. "You're telling me that-"

"I've repeated the same sentence for the last ten minutes. Quit being an imbecile and listen."

Queen Diamond, yes the supposedly long dead, evil animus ruler of the Icewings, rolls her eyes at me. I'm sure her death threats weren't as dramatic with a six (and a half) year old dragonet constantly interrupting. She glared at me with her sharp sapphire eyes.

Everything about the queen screamed royalty. From her so-white-its-nearly-transperent scales, to her crown made of jagged bedrock or even the way she held herself, with her wings draped beside her as if she was on a throne.

"So you have my brother held hostage..." I prompt. Despite sounding calm, my teeth and talons are clenched in worry. Please tell me Snow is okay!

She growls, a look of pure annoyance flashing across her face.

"Yes, the Claws of Vengeance have you brother," She says, with an exaggerated pause between each word. She adjusted the bejeweled chains and rings adorning her casually.

I gulp, despite not being in the battle of the rainforest against the brutal rebel group, I had seen the aftermath and I can't picture my little Snow being tortured or locked up in a cage.

"What do I do to get him back?" I snarl. "I'm guessing this is a hostage situation and not a 'just for some fun' ordeal?"

Queen Diamond regarded me again with her cool, crystal gaze.

"In One months time, you will meet me at the Forgotten Peaks to retrieve your brother. To ensure you won't bring your little friends with you, we will kill Snow the moment we see you with backup. Then we will talk about his release and what you owe me."

What on earth would I owe her?

"One month?" I ask, frowning. "Why so long?"

"Well, I'm going to be busy with...something else." Her sinister grin makes me feel uneasy but I try to ignore it. "So, do you agree to the terms?"

"Only if you promise to not hurt him in the meantime," I say, with what I hope is a threatening glare.

"Of course," She says, and I catch a glimpse of a villainous smile before she disappears before my eyes.

For a moment, I'm left alone in what I assume is her bedroom before my eyes snap open and my surroundings, the rainwing healing pavilions, come into sharp focus.

At first my dream blurs with reality and I desperately grab at the air and rip off my blanket, about to get out of the comfy hammock before a pair of surprisingly strong talons hold me down.

"Are you all right?" A pair of green eyes with a hint of gold bore into mine.

"Fine." I mumble.

"Well, you know you're not allowed to launch out of bed like that, you might tear a stitch." Bamboo says sternly.

"Well- I uh, I need to talk to the others,"

"Okay..." Bamboo says slowly "I'll go gather them up."

Soon, four pairs of intent eyes are staring at me expectantly.
