A/N: ok i wrote this chapter a couple of months ago and it's a little cringey but its mostly fiinneee. kinda

I study Storm from the corner of my eye, he flies so wildly different than any other dragon I've ever seen. He does the sort of swooping, diving type that Skywings do but he wriggles his tail and body slightly as if he's swimming.

Both of those combined make him a very powerful flyer and my wings ache trying to catch up. I 'accidentally' brush my wings against his side and see his cheeks flush vibrant red.

I smile, I see him do that a lot: go all flustered and blushing and It is especially funny seeing a big strong Skywing go bright red when a girl smiles at him.

"Huh," Storm says. "I was just thinking about how I literally know nothing about you and we're going on this search together."

"Yeah, you're right..." All of a sudden, a thought hits me. "I know a way we can get to know each other better," I say with a smirk.

"Oh?" Storm asks curiously.

"Have you ever played Truth or Dare, General?" I ask. Storm shakes his head.

"No, what's that?" He implores.

"Truth or dare is a game where a player chooses either truth: where the other player can ask them any question and you have to answer truthfully. Or dare: Where the others give the player something to do (a dare) and they have to do it," I explain, still grinning devilishly.

Storm looks nervous, I guess he does know me a little bit if he's anxious about playing Truth or Dare with me.

"Okay, that sounds fun," Storm grins. "Well for starters, what's your jaguar's name?" He asks, nodding at Fang now nibbling on the papaya I'm offering her.

"Oh, Fang. But that's not how it works, we take turns for who starts." I explain.

"Oh, right. You go first."

"Alright then. Dare," I decide without hesitation.

"Hmm, okay... " Storm thinks. Then a thought hits him and he smiles. "Race me."

"No WAY!" I protest, "You'll win!"

"Exactly," Storm smirks back. "But you said you can't say no to a dare so..." He finishes, way too pleased with himself. I sigh.

"Fine then!" I retort defiantly. "GO!" I shout and race off.

I hear his startled protests and then his wings beating at top speed, trying to catch up.

When he does catch up, he swoops around me like a graceful bird. I can't help but laugh and twirl around in front of him as well.

I know, of course, that Storm is only pretending to be slow and that he could actually smoke me if he felt like it, but I still feel triumphant when Storm falls behind and I soar ahead.

Once Storm 'miraculously' recovers from his exhaustion, he dives towards me with a small smile creeping across his snout.

"My turn," he grins. "Truth. There's no way I'm letting you pick a dare for me!" He says, and we both laugh.

"Fine then, Bird Brain." I retort. Storm scowls playfully at the new nickname.

"Well, what's my truth Sparkle Face?" Storm asks.

"Okay, first off who were those dragons attacking you? And what did they want?"

Storm pauses to think. "have no idea who they are." Storm says honestly. "But I don't think they work for any queens, I didn't recognise any of them at all."
