"So this is the place?"
I wanted to sound unimpressed, but the restaurant was bustling with people. The building was quite luxurious, the white marble shining in the darkness. The aroma of the freshly cooked food made my stomach grumble, and Lyney could hear that.
"It looks like you're hungry, well enough standing around, let's go in!"
He grabbed my hand and pulled me in, catching me completely off guard.
"I'd like a table of two please" Lyney requested one of the waiters
"Of course, follow me"
The table the waiter gave us was covered in a beautiful red cover, with a vase of flowers placed in the middle. It reminded me of a scenario where two people would have a dinner date. Wait...
"So Lumine, what would you like? I hear their Fontainian Foie Gras is quite exquisite, and their Vessie Chicken looks quite mouth-watering."
I looked through the menu, and many of the menu items were incredibly fancy. And expensive too... However, one meal did catch my eye.
"Lasagna."
Lyney looked quite surprised for a second, but returned back to his calm composure.
"Are you sure? If it's prices you're worried about, don't worry! It'll be on my bill."
"Nah, Lasagna looks quite delicious. Plus, I don't want to make you go broke, do I?"
"If you insist Lumine."
Lyney looked quite relieved after that, as if he expected me to chose the most expensive food after his statement. However I also ordered the Fruity Duet, it looked quite tasty, and if Lyney was taking the bill, I may as well buy more.
"So Lumine, do you have any hobbies?"
"If you count killing monsters everyday as a hobby, then I guess so."
"Well that sounds quite fun! Which enemies do you like to defeat the most?"
I thought about it. Hilichurls were quite easy, but knowing they was once Khaenri'an puts me off a bit. I absolutely hate fighting abyss mages, so that was a no go. Slimes are incredibly cute, so I normally hate fighting them. However the Fatui... They were big and strong, and sometimes proved a challenge to fight. Fighting them is quite fun, and obtaining their insignia after I defeat them almost felt like a trophy.
"Fatui!" I said quite enthusiastically.
"Wha-?"
Lyney was taken aback, my answer of 'Fatui' made him quite silent and worried. Why did he act that way? No way he could possibly be... That would explain the Fatui insignia he dropped! I'll have to pry the information out of him to confirm it.
"Is there anything wrong Lyney?"
"Oh, nothings wrong! But why do you enjoy defeating them the most?"
"Because the Fatui is a cruel organisation, and nothing good can come out of them. One of their harbingers kicked a friend of mine! Dottore is also detestable, knowing what he did to Collei... They're not all bad I guess, as I made friends with one of their Harbingers, Childe."
"Oh, you befriended Master- I mean the Harbinger, Childe? That's quite impressive!"
Master? A slip up made by Lyney, but this only confirms my theory further.
"Well, what are your thoughts on the other harbingers?" Lyney asked
The others? That's right... There's eleven Fatui Harbingers in total, and I only met three, not including Scaramouche. I have however, heard things about them from Childe and Wanderer.
