Snapes pov

I watched as the horn and tailed girl ran from my class.

I was genuinely worried about her so once my lesson ended, i called her family back.

"Make sure she's okay, i want her back in my class tomorrow. And not a word." I threatened.

I somehow had a small crush on the young girl, way before we even worked on the Amortentia potion.

She must like me, no Serverus, shut up, she is a student, ans you have a class to teach.

I escaped my thoughts and became more agressive to the 1st years that entered my class.

My day went slow, and every free second i had, i set to wondering if Valkyrie was okay.

She was thin but scary. I would always try to overpower her with my threatening demeanor but it would never work.

She was tall, thin, attractive and oh so very popular. I would never get a chance at her.

Soon the clock struck 6 o'clock and a demanded everyone out of the class.

I spent an hour getting myself under control, then i left to the Great Hall for dinner.

Everyone was seated, and i soon saw Valkyrie, Blair, River and Marcus enter the hall.

Valkyrie and Draco were messing around, and it made me slightly jealous. But even i knew they didnt like each other.

I watched as Valkyrie sat at the Slytherin table and sat cross legged on the bench.

She sat there, softly laughing, but looking so innocent and shy. She was cute, and i couldnt stop staring at her.

I noticed the untouched plat of food that lay before her. She never did now that i remembered, i had never seen her touch her food. Maybe that was why she was so thin.

I then started worrying about her, even though i would never do that... And thats when i realised that i loved her, that i would never forget about her.

The thing was though, that nobody knew a thing about her family. The three kids that went everywhere with her, they were all odd.

Valkyrie's eyes would change from her luminescent green to black, red or gold. It wasnt often, but it still happened.

Blair's eyes were a bright blue.
Marcus's were a blue grey.
And River's were dusty purple.

Their eyes were not human, and thats how i knew that these children were not human.

They looked it, they sounded it, they didnt often act like it though.

Valkyrie was quiet. She never spoke much, only scratchy sentences and a different language. It was none that the muggles spoke, so i was curious.

But as the muggles would say, Curiosity killed the cat. The thing was, Satisfaction brought it back.

I always had a thing for muggle literature.

It was something i used to pass the time.

I set my focus back to the real world and took a sip of the wine in my glass, i looked back to where Valkyrie and her family were sitting, to see that they were gone.

"She's a great student, isnt she?" Minerva asked me.

I nodded, "that she is..." I concluded.

But, i was still worried about her.
