My laughter ricocheted off the vintage walls of the attic, the grandfather clock's rhythmic tik tok and the occasional chirping of crickets serve as a sick background music for my malicious intent and cruel plans.
My eyes read and re-read the text I just sent to my dear friend Asher.

"Petal......."

A name so unique and a woman so pretty. One look at her hour glass figure and the mole above her lips and I knew why The Asher Guimond is so smitten about her. This girl can make anybody feel emotions that are scarce and so foreign to humans like me and Asher.

"Asher Asher Asher .......... Petal Petal Petal "

My eyes bounced from one wall to another filled with only her pictures as I twirled around in my chair. Whatever unknown feelings took over me for a minute soon replaced with my usual hollowness and pure malice.
My greedy eyes take in every little detail of her maddening beauty from the picture of her wearing a sundress from the time Asher planned a picnic date for her to the image where she wears a skimpy silver dress reaching her mid thighs giving me a lot of reasons to control myself. With a face like that I can't deny the purity her eyes holds - her precious brown eyes that refuses to see anything but the absolute good in others- is beauty of it's own.

"Guess what Darling? People like me serve as a purpose to proof that everyone in this world does not deserve your precious kindness-"

My eyes casually drifted to the things on the table - a dslr, my new collection of her pictures and three new burner phones.

"-some people will forever remain loyal to darkness"

The left side of the room filled with red lights much similar to blaring alarms Petal will feel when she'll meet me. It will be a spectacle you'll remember forever Darling. Slowly but surely I'll be engraved in your brain in a way that you'll forget the name Asher and recall only mine.

"My name Ab-"

Nuh uh. Not yet Darling. You need to wait a bit more before I introduce myself to you.
Sorry Asher the girl you love so dearly is also the girl I dream of making my mine. Very soon.

"Ha ha ha" the blank laughter surrounded me like an evil aura while my mind and eyes were busy searching for the girl of my dreams through the only window in the room.

Her windows sealed tight.
Curtains drawn.

All throughout the walk to my window I wished for her to open the window and let me see her face once before I call it a night but my wish remains unnoticed just like many others.

"People like me we are not worthy of your attention, kindness or love your too pure...... too angelic to be involved with devils like me and Asher-"

My eyes long to see her, the urges to break in and spent the night with her scoped in my arms distracted me from my line of thoughts. Every fibre in my body screamed to be near her- observe her as she sleeps peacefully - but I know I can't.
