74 days until summer break
Thursday - Media Day - Imola, Italy

It took patience to get my way around Jasmine. But the kiss last week was a big step forward because from then on, she let me kiss her more often.

Even though they were only a few stolen kisses in her kitchen, she would let me kiss her more often. And she seemed to get more comfortable around me. It was little steps, but at least they were forward and not backward.

"Hey mate," Daniel's voice shook me from my thoughts. "Are you okay?"

I noticed I was staring a hole into the wall of my driver's room, the Australian was leaning against my doorpost, chuckling at my disoriented look.

I nodded at him, "I am doing very well."

Daniel noticed the tone of my voice, and raised both eyebrows, "Is there an update you would like to give me?"

"We kissed," I lowered my tone of voice, I didn't know if someone else was walking through the hallways, and accidentally could eavesdrop us, and I did not want that to happen. "Last Sunday in Hungary."

"Oh my goodness, you did not?!"

"Keep your voice down," I warned Daniel, who quickly closed the door. "And yes, I did."

Daniel wetted his lips as he still looked at me in disbelief, his eyes slowly adjusted to their normal size, as he let out a sigh, "Wow, I did not expect that to happen, to be honest."

I rolled my eyes, but the smirk was playful because Daniel knew just as well as I did that the kiss was a step forward to completing our bet.

"I still think it will be hard, though," I said. "Either she is playing extremely hard to get or she just doesn't know how to act around a guy's attention."

Daniel nudged me, but his smile was just as wide as always, "You really can't say shit like that, Max."

I shrugged my shoulders– as if I cared what I could or could not say about Jasmine. What I did care about was winning the bet, because there was no way in hell I was losing to Daniel and Carlos.

"And what more?"

"We baked some muffins," I could still smell the delicious scent of the freshly baked goods. I could still taste the sweetness of the blueberries on Jasmine's lips. "Nothing much more than kissing, but it will happen."

Daniel chuckled, "We will see about that. I would love to take your boat out for a nice party."

I rolled my eyes and laughed along, "Not happening, mate."

"Let's just go to the media pen before they list us as missing. And I'm sure Carlos wants this update too."

I got up from the little couch and followed Daniel towards the media pen, laughing and joking around about the Italian Grand Prix and how Carlos, being a Ferrari driver, probably wouldn't have the time to gather news about the new updates between Jasmine and me.
