A/N: Sorry for the delays lately. Life has been throwing me lemons, and I have yet to figure out how to make lemonade (anyone with a good recipe??)

Anyways! Since it is my birthday today, I feel extra generous to give you 2 chapters this week!

I want to thank everyone, every (silent) reader, all the voters and commenters. Thank you so much for all the support. I love you all <3

And can I please know what beef some people are having with Purple Hearts? I want in on the gossip.

You talked me under the table, talking rings and talking cradles. I wish I could un-recall, how me almost had it all

Some nights are definitely more challenging than others. I would lay awake and stare at my ceiling, listening to a depressing playlist to set the mood for myself.

On other nights, I slept for over 12 hours straight, and I wouldn't leave my apartment if it weren't necessary. Because every day, I was hyper-aware that Max was still in Monaco, too.

I shuffled through my apartment, and with another sleepless night, I refused to spend it in bed, waiting for the sun to appear through the curtains. That was useless.

It slowly occurred to me that everything here was haunted by the memory of Max; the muffins in the kitchen, the cups of tea everywhere. The confession on the couch.

All of it made me feel nauseous.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed myself a glass of water. It was just one more week until the races were to begin again, one more week until I knew if I would graduate this year or not.

I had no idea how Charles and Arthur juggle all the stress that comes with racing because I am not good at dealing with it.

Just a few more days.

Mia had been cautiously looking at me ever since I welcomed her ten minutes ago. Her facial expression was as if she was thinking about something yet didn't want to tell me.

"Are you going to tell me what is going on?" I asked her, finally fed up with her stares.

"Well, I don't mean this in a harmful way," she began, her voice doubtful. "But you look like shit."
