As soon as the policemen have disappeared from the flat, Daniel calls the rest. "Lewis, you check Mercedes to see if Max might be somewhere. Checo, you check the Red Bull hospitality. Everyone who is in Monaco right now come to Charles' flat and the rest either look after the younger ones or try to find out where Max might be. There must be some clues. Stoffel, I'm sorry you got dragged in, but can you maybe pay Jos a visit with Nico and Kevin. Charles, you ask Charlotte about Kelly." The Australian announces to everyone.
Lewis immediately sets off and starts asking Mercedes, but also the other teams, about Max. He systematically goes through the teams, but is unsuccessful. He gets apologetic denials everywhere as an answer.
Charles sets off to Charlotte's. When he rings the doorbell, his girlfriend comes to meet him. Behind her, however, are two people. Kelly and an unknown man. So he pushes Charlotte aside and immediately asks Kelly what this is all about.
"I didn't do anything you fucker!" She hisses. "I didn't even ask you anything." Moans Charles.
"You pay attention missy. I have no idea what this guy is doing here, all I know is that you freak beat up my best friend Max. And I assure you one thing, Piquet. Your name ain't gonna get you out of this shit. Your daddy may buy you everything, but you ain't getting out of this one. If it's the last thing I do. How about you, Charlotte? Great girlfriend? Never. First you protect Kelly, and then you go and have fun with that fucking asshole." Charles shouts.
Furious, he storms out of Charlotte's flat again and shouts, "Let's get this straight. We're over! You've just gambled away your last card!"
He keeps running until he comes to a stop at a small wall. It is in the middle of a field. He goes around the wall when a note peeps out of a gap.
I think after our fight, this card will never reach you Percy. I believe in you! No matter what anyone else says, or how our relationship with each other turns out. See you in Formula 1!

Charles recognises the handwriting, which he hasn't seen for so long. Max and he used to be friends. But now? Rivals, only rivals who feign friendship in front of the camera so that they stand in a better light.
He crouches in the grass, leaning against the wall, clutching the small piece of paper. Within a few hours his whole life has fallen apart. Charlotte and he have broken up, Max is gone and he was also stupid enough to believe Charlotte the night before and therefore didn't call the police immediately.
So while the drivers are all looking for Max and going through every little alley in Monaco, Max is in Finland. When he heard the voice, at first he just wanted to flee. Jos is there.
He unlocks the door again and flees. Where to, he doesn't know. He just runs into the forest behind the house and on and on. He ignores his aching joints. Because Max is scared to death.
He has no idea what Jos is capable of and is afraid of dying. At the moment, the Red Bull driver has the feeling that Jos would kill him without hesitation.
The forest seems endless, but when it starts snowing again. Max looks on the bright side. His footsteps become blurred and Jos can no longer follow him. He continues to walk through the snow.
He has been walking for several hours, but crying is out of the question. If only because it would freeze immediately and be really dangerous.
But Max now understands why his father did not follow him. A snowstorm is moving through the country. But Max didn't notice the warning and is now in the middle of it.
Shivering, he seeks shelter between rocks, even though he has to shovel the entrance clear every 10 minutes to avoid being caught. For hours he sits there waiting for the end.
When the time finally comes, he gets up to continue on his way. At least he could rest a little.
He walks on and on until he sees a hut in the distance. It looks so inviting and cosy. But as Max gets closer, he realises.
He was at the wrong cabin to begin with. He was at the one his father knew about. And not the one no one knew about.
As fast as his exhausted legs can carry him, he runs to the cabin and unlocks the door. When he steps into the warmth, he realises how hypothermic he is.
Someone says "My son, I knew I would meet you here." Max eyes start to tear and he whispers "Not again!"
