The San Fernado Valley sun filtered through the small, dusty windows of Y/n Montgomery's attic space. The 17-year-old girl sat slumped over her desk and her head laid on journals and schoolbooks from her studying the night before.

"Y/n.." Fiona's voice sounded from the alarm clock.

"Yoo-hoo, Y/n/n..." Her voice almost cooed, before her patience seemed to just run thin.

"Y/N!" Fiona shouted, startling the girl awake. "It's breakfast time." Y/n let out a yawn, her eyes heavy with sleepiness as she adjusted to the brightness of her room. "So, bring me my breakfast!" Fiona demanded.

Y/n looked out of her window for a few more seconds before sighing. She dropped her pencil onto the desk before scratching her head. She thought she had time to at least sit and adjust to the new day before having to get ready and tend to Fiona and her daughters.

She thought.

She winced at the sudden scream of her name that followed, "Y/N!!" Fiona screamed, making the whole house shake.

She brought up her leg from the floor and let out a whine, getting out of the chair.

On her pink patio chair, Fiona lounged, reading a book pertaining to 'The Salmon Diet' as her daughters practiced their synchronized swimming with their instructor. Fiona looked up, watching as her daughters danced around in the pool, acrobatically.

"Careful, ladies!" The swim instructor called out, "Look for the eyes. One, two, three, bicycle. And feint. Magpie, magpie, magpie! Flap and flap and flap! Mary Lou Retton! Palm tree and palm tree. Lady Liberty! Lady Liberty! Around the harbor! Around the harbor!" He recited, waddling in a circle. "Circle Line tour, and hurricane!"

 "Circle Line tour, and hurricane!"
