The Lost Queen

10. Magicians

1 hour, some torn fabric, and a complete breakdown later, I have all that shit off and Sara has her notes. 

I wiggle all over the couch in a comfortable dress. "This is so much better."

Kina rolls her eyes. "I'll send dinner up." Her and Sara both leave.

I sit down at the table and Alden comes in. He sits down beside me. "Movie tonight?"

I don't really want to. I just want to leave but I am exhausted. "Sure." Maybe he can show me how the tv really works.

He smiles and kisses my hand. "Thank you baby."

After we eat I get pajama's on then snuggle with him on the couch with a blanket. He shows me some of the buttons and explains it a bit. 

I wake up in the morning sleeping on him. He took me to his bed last night. I'm getting kind of use to that though. I always sleep better with him. He rolls us over and rubs my arm. I love the tingles.

I open my eyes and he's gone. I must have fell back asleep. I stretch big and climb out of bed.

After a confusing morning, I guess I sent all my underwear to the ship, I manage to get all put together with a simple dress on. These are the best. I head up to Alden's office and all the normal people are there. Nadine is there with her mates too. I sit down in a random spot at the table. 

"Good morning Mayra." Jenny smiles at me.

"Good morning." 

"MAYRA. ARE YOU IN THERE?" Kina screams from the hallway.

I dive under the table. Everyone cracks up laughing.

Alden peeks under at me and whispers, "What did you do now?"

"I don't know."

"MAYRA."

He smiles at her, "She's not in here Kina."

"Well when you see her, ask her, WHERE THE HELL SHE PUT ALL HER UNDERWEAR. Servant told me she doesn't have any. She had a million pair yesterday. I swear that child is always doing something." She storms out.

I sneak out from under the table slowly, never taking my eyes off the door.

Alden shakes his head. "What happened to your underwear woman?"

"I sent them to the ship. I didn't want to run out."

They all crack up laughing so hard.

"Well now you ran out here baby."

"Yea it was a mess this morning. The servant had to send the guards to the mall so buy some."

Alden stands up and glares at the door guard. 

"NOT ME." He jumps out of the room.

Clark pushes Alden down. "Sit. It's fine. It was simply a weird problem. The servants figured out a solution. Let it go."

He rubs his eyes. "Just burn them all, I'll buy you new."

All Nadine's mates nod. Nadine shakes her head. "Idiots."

Jenny cracks up laughing. "Of all the issues."

"I like them though. They're pink."

Alden jumps up and goes after the guard. The guard runs like hell. Clark tackles Alden. "JUST SIT DOWN MAN. HE DIDN'T BUY THEM."

Alden gets up off the floor then picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. He takes off for the door. 

"BRO, KNOCK THIS SHIT OFF." Victor speeds over and pulls me off Alden. He puts me on my feet. "Go sit down."
