Chapter 8

*Bella's POV*

I guess you can say I'm going on my second date with Edward. I met his family the other day and now today he is taking me to play baseball with his family. Its going to storm and Edward said thats the only time they can play. I wonder why? I go downstairs from being in y room and tell my dad that Edward is here and wants to meet you. He is cleaning his rifle when I go down.
"Dad!"
"Yeah?"
"I wanted to tell you that Edward wanted to meet you today when he picked me up to take me on a date."
"Well I guess!"
"Hes outside so can you be nice please?"
"Got nice okay." He puts the rifle down and I go to get Edward.
"Hello chief Swan, I'm Edward Cullen. Its a pleasure to meet you." He shakes hands with Charlie.
"Call me Charlie."
"Bella won't be out late, she is going to play baseball with my family and I."
"Bella play baseball? Good luxck with that!" We get ready to leave and Charlie stops me.
"You still have that pepper spray?"
"Yes dad!" Ugg!!! I hurryout of the hour and get into Edwards jeep. He drives to this open area and I see his whole family there. I thinkm the only one that doesn't like me is Rosalie. I'm greeted with welcoming hugs and so good to see you Bella. I play the empire and the first one put to bat is Rosalie. She hits what I think is a home run and it was super load.
Now I know why you can't play unless a storm is coming!" I tell Esme.
"Yeah!"
"That has to be a home run."
"No Edward is really fast, and Bella call them as you see it!" I don't know why she said that till I see she has a ball in he glove and Rosalie slid home.
"Your out!" Rosalie gives me a death stare and Emmest starts to cheer. Then he sees how she looked at me and said,
"Come on babe! Its just a game!" Carlisle is up next he hits the ball and ends up scoring because Edward and Emmet ran into each other trying to g the ball. It was fun! Jasper was up and he hit the ball and Emmet climbed a tree and jumped off of the tree sought the ball. Out! Alice had the ball to pitch to the next person when she zoned out!
"Stop!" She yelled and everyone ran over toward the batting team.
"What did you see?" Jasper said.
"I have to get Bella out of here!"
"Its to late Edward there already here!" Alice said.
"Who is?" Just then I see a black guy, a white guy and a girl with red hair.
"Put your hair down, and stand behind me!" Edward said. I did as I was told and never made I contact with the three intruders. Carlisle is talking to them and they ask to play we had to say yes. When the were getting ready to toward the out field a breeze blew past and then I hear the white guy who name is James say,
"You borough me a snack!" The Cullen family goes on protection and pushes me towardhg back of all of them. Kinda like tey were shielding me. In don't know what just happened but Edward is now dragging toward the Jeep. He keeps saying 'I should have never brought you here, I'm sorry!' He says no have to leave that James is a great tracker. He also says James won't stop till finds me. We go to my house and I make this excuse to my d aging that I have to go home. It broke my heat but I had to and say that Edward and I broke up. He keeps on telling me to think about it, sleep on it. I leave t house and get into my truck. I start to drive when Edward pops up beside me saying 'let me drive!' I scoot over and he drives. We then feel this thump and I look back!
"Its only Emmet, Alice is in the car behind us!" Emmet likes to ride on tyhg back of cars apparently. We get t the Cullen house and there is bickering going on. Alice and Jasper end up taking me down south. To my previous state Phoenix Arizona. We stay at this hotel. Alice and Jasper go down to talk and I stay up in the room. !y phone rings and it says 'home.'
