Chapter 26

Bella's pov

It's Seth! Poor insistent Seth. Who would want to hurt Seth? Carlisle is asking all these questions as he takes Seth in his arms. Seth screams and I feel so bad. I take my hand and brush some of his hair out of the way. Jake grabs my hand and hold me from behind. He is so warm. Once Carlisle leaves I'm so curious. "What happened?" I ask to the whole pack. Not caring who would answer me. "Red head hit him and he hit is back on a tree." Paul said as he goes past me. I feel so bad. This is all my fault. I don't want anyone to have to be hurt. It's becoming night and Esme cooked food for the pack. "It feels nice to use the kitchen. Come by more often I love to cook for you guys." She sports Leah. "And girls." Leah shakes her head. "No I'm one of the guys." She smiles and grabs a plate. I'm not hungry but Jake insisted that I eat. So I eat a little. I explain to Jake how Emily had a bad feeling so we left. We decided to sleep at the Cullen's. Esme and Carlisle insisted. Everyone was okay with it because they got to see me but Edward didn't like the fact that Jake was in his house. Oh well. Leah takes the recliner and the pack insisted that I take he couch. After the pack falls asleep Jake comes over to me. "You okay?" He asks me. "Worried for Seth." Jake shakes his head and I sit up. Jake sits beside me and I push him down so he is on the bottom and I'm on top of him. I kiss him and then I put my head on his chest and fall asleep. It's early morning and Jake wakes me with his snoring. Everyone is still asleep. I don't see the Cullen's anywhere in the house. I searched everywhere and there were no signs of them. I find myself looking through the door way to where Seth is. He looks okay, peaceful. I think that he will be okay. I walk out side and sit in the hammock that is set up. I lay down. It's really cool outside so I go in and grab a blanket. I go back out and lay down. I can feel my eye lids getting heavy so I let them close. When I open my eyes I see the Embry and wrestling Jared wrestling. Jake comes out and hands me a plate with food on it. "Thanks!" I say taking the plate. "Your welcome." He smiles as he walks out to go wrestle with the guys. Leah come out. "I think you could kick Jared's ass." She smiles. "I have. I wanna fight one of the vampires as my human form. "I'll do it!" Someone says from behind us. It's Emmett. "Really?" He shakes his head then walks off the patio. "Come on. I'll even go easy on you!" That makes Leah get off and charge at him. She hates people going easy on her. Emmett moves out of the way and she almost hits Jared. She stops herself and charges again. This time Emmett doesn't move and they Leah punches him. Emmett is surprised and wrestles with her. Jake starts to get worried. You can see it on his face, but he stays back. Carlisle walks out. "What's going on?" He says and gets in between them. "Just wrestling dad! She wanted to!" Emmett says hugging Leah. "Yeah. I wanted to see if I could do some damage in in human form. He didn't hurt me." Jared comes behind her. "This bruise looks fresh." She smiles. "Just a battle scar." She turns around and starts to wrestle with Jared. Jake come over to me. "What do you think?" He asks me. "What?" He smiles and gives me a kiss. "Watching everyone wrestle." I smile. "It's fun to watch but maybe one day I can be in there." Jake smiles. "Maybe." I can tell Jake is okay with turning me but I'm not ready. He has told me he is ready, but isn't gonna push it. "Hey!" I look at the door and see Seth. "Hey!" I get up and hug him gently but he squeezes me and spins me around. "We heal faster then you do Bella." He says as he goes out to the 'wrestle area.' He cracks me up. "Wanna go for a walk?"
"Sure Jake, help me up." He grabs my hands and pulls me up. Giving me a kiss once I'm standing. We hold hands and head for the forest. "Sam wants me to take over. As alpha. He says and I quote 'it's your time now. You need to step up and take control. I'm only supposed to be temporary.' I just want yes to talk to you about it. You know before I make a decision. You will be affected by this decision just as much as me." I look at him. "What do you mean?" "Well you would be Luna. Which is the Alpha wife. And you would probably never see me much and would have to deal with me being bossy at some points if I end up using aloha voice on you by accident." "Well we can change that."  Jake stops. "What do you mean?"
"Change me." He looks as me. "Right now?" I nod. "I'm ready Jake. I wanna be with you. I talked to Billy. He said that if you change me that I would be yours and that's all I want. Then I can be just like you and be able to do everything and anything with you."  "Okay." He says as he looks at me. " he grabs my arm. The one that James bit me on and he traces the bit marks. "It wouldn't look like this. I just have to put some of my blood into you and it would be like an infection. Spreading through all your body."
"Sounds less painful then this." I say looking the the bite mark. "But do it when your alpha so you don't get in trouble." He smiles. "Always looking out for my safety?" I kiss him and say yes. I kiss him again. Jakes arms go around me and I put my hands in his hair. He hold me tight and then he stops. "What?" He looks around. "We're being watched." I loom around but don't see anybody. "Who?" I hear the leaves rustle and then I know that it is one of the Cullen's. "Was it." "Yeah... He didn't hear anything he just came and saw us kissing." "How do you know?" I ask.
"I heard him coming. You didn't?"
"No I was to busy loosing myself in you." I say as I kiss him once more then we head back. Jake tells Sam about his decision. I hear Sam say "we have to tell Billy before the rest of the Pack." That's all I hear before Paul says that we should head back to our house. I have 1 more day with Jake. Jake takes me to see Billy and Sam is with us.

Jakes POV

I take Sam and Bella to come with me to tell dad. "Hey dad!"
"Hey Jacob. Sam." Same just nods back. "Everything okay son?"
"Yeah. I decided that it is time. I'm ready." Jake looks at Sam.
"Billy I'm stepping down and Jake is taking his place as Alpha. I'm happy to finally be able to say that." All Billy does is smile for the longest time. "Great tor hear." He finally says. I'm happy and I'm scared at the same time I know Sam will help me and I have Bella to be there with me. Sam leaves and Billy leaves with Charlie to on a fishing trip. I have tonight with Bella then I have to give her up to the blood suckers. I'm interrupted when Bella starts to talk. "Tonight. I want you to do it before I go to the Cullen's."
"Okay." She leaves the room then enters with a knife. I would imagine from the kitchen. I take the knife and she sits next to me. "Where?" I ask her. She holds out her arm with the bite on it and I know the spot she wants. I take the knife and make a cut about an inch and then I take the knife and I slice my finger. I push some of my blood out of the cut and then I let some drip on her cut. I then press the cuts together and we wait a little. To make the time pass she kisses me, with so much passion.  After some time passes I remove my finger and I grab a tissue. I get Bella's cut to stop bleed and by the time that it is done my cut is healed. "I love you Chief Jacob."
"I love you Luna." I love that word. "Did you hear?" Bella asks me. I shake my head no and she says that Emily and Sam are going to get married at the end of summer. That's about 6 mouths away. Bella is almost ready to graduate. She is almost there. She has 2 more months. I stand up and go to our room. I grab my box that I hid and then I go back out to Bella. "Bella, I love you with all my heart. I will protect you all the time no matter what." I say as I get down on one knee. "Will you marry me?" She smiles and says yes with out even hesitation. She loves me just as much as I love her. I give her a kiss and slip the ring on her finger. It's simple and tiny. If I know Bella it is she doesn't like bling. She likes simple. "I love this ring Jacob." "I made it. It's one of a kind for my one of a kind girl." She smiles and kisses me again. "We better get to bed. I don't want to think about tomorrow and letting you go." "Hey, it is gonna be okay." Bella says moving her hands to my hair and she kisses me again. We go to bed and she is on my. Literally on me.

I wake Bella up with a kiss. "Morning baby."
"Morning Jake." She gets up and puts jeans on the she gets in my dresser and puts in of my shirts on. It actually isn't that big on her. Then she gets in my closet and takes one of my sweatshirts and puts it on. "What is mine is yours and what is yours is mine." She says with a smile. I give her a kiss and then we leave for Emily's.

Once at Ems house Sam makes an announcement. "I'm backing down as Alpha. Jake is taking his place as alpha." Everyone is silent then congrats me. I think I'm gonna be just fine as alpha. "What is that?" I hear Paul say as he looks at Bella's hand. "Chief Jake asked me to Marry him." Bella says. Once agin everyone is happy. "Actually gonna be part of the family!" Quil says as he hugs Bella. I'm congratulated and the rest of the goes by fast. Just as one big family. "Now that she is definitely my sister. I don't want to give her up to the blood suckers!" Jared says. "I know that feeling!" I say in return. "I'm gonna be fine guys. I promise." Bella says as she looks at everyone then sits on my lap. I don't notice any changes in her yet but I don't think I will till about 2 or 3 weeks. Bella being normal for now. I can't wait till she is one of us. What she doesn't realize is that she already imprinted on me. That is the best part!
