Chapter 19

*Bellas POV*

I talked to Edward and I tell him that this is the only way that he'll stay with me. I looked down into the water. It looks cold. the breeze is blowing so gonna make it worse. Before think about it too much longer and change my mind. I looked down one last time and jump. When my feet first left the cliff it felt like I was flying. I hold my breath and then hit the water. I was right the water is cold. I quickly swim to the surface. When I turn and look the other direction I see humongous wave come. It knocks me back down underneath the water. I try to surface again but another wave come. I open my eyes underwater and see my worst enemy. I see red hair. Whoever has this red hair is swimming towards me and I know exactly who it is. Victoria! I start to panic and try to swim in the opposite direction that she's coming. I don't get far before my head hit the rock. I automatically stop swimming and I start to sink. I'm not holding my breath anymore and then I realize that I'm dead. I'm now going to the bottom and Edward is beside me. I don't remember much more. Just the water and how cool it was.

*Jacobs POV*

When we were chasing redhead she jumped off the cliff and into the water. As I was standing on the rock I thought I smelt Bella. Me being nosey I decided to stick around because of that was Bella she was going to be in danger. I got back into the woods and I no one could see me and my fur camouflaged me. I then see Bella. She's talking to herself but I thinking she's picturing of Edward. She takes off her shoes, jacket, and bracelet. She talks little bit more then she looks down at the water and jumps. I hurry up and runs the side of the cliff and look down. I see Bella surface and then a wave comes and knocks her underwater. Iface back and see human form and throw my jean shorts on. When I don't see Bella surface again I jump in. I looked everywhere I can, the water is somewhat clear so I can see a pretty good distance away. I look down and see Bella sinking to the bottom. I swim as fast as I can to her and grabbed her arm. I pull her out of the water and up on to the beach. I check and see if she's breathing and she's not, she also doesn't have a pulse. I start CPR and scream her name.

*Bella's POV*

I can hear my name being yelled.
"Bella.... Bella.... Come on breath.... Breath!" Just then I feel water come out of my mouth and I open my eyes to see Jake.
"Bella... Can you hear me?" Jake says has he grabs hold of my hand.
"Jake!" I whisper because I have a lot as I can say it.
"Come here!" Jake picks me up a little bit and put me on his lap. He gives me a big hug.
"Bella what the hell are you thinking?"
"I just wanted to see something."
"Get her home I'm going back to Harry's house to help out!" Sam yells to Jacob.
"What happened at Harry's"
"Harry Clearwater had a heart attack." Jacob told me with sadness in his eyes.
"Charlie and my dad are over at his place helping."
"Is he okay?"
"Bella he's gone. Come on I'll get you dried off and get you home." Jack helps me stand up and he put his arm around me to help keep me warm and so I wouldn't fall. We got in the truck and I sat on the passenger side while Jacob drove. I'm wearing a long sleeve shirt and a heavy jacket, and I'm freezing. Jacob sees this and smiles a little bit.
"You know what's 180 degrees over here." I slide over and grab a hold of his hand. He put his arm around me and I feel so warm and safe.
"Damn Bella you are freezing."
"Yeah, it must be nice never getting cold!"
"Its a wolf thing."
"No its a Jacob thing. Your just warm." I lay my head on his shoulder and he lays his head on mine. We get to my house and we sit there a little bit in the truck. I go to get out and when I open my door Jacob reaches over me and closes it.
"No!"
"What is it Jake?"
"Vampire! I'm getting you out of here." Before he can say anything else, I'm back at his side. I look around and see no cars anywhere. Just then I see little bit red coming from the side of my house. Its Victoria.
"We need to get you new clothes yours are soaked."
"What about Victoria being here?"
"We have no choice. I'm going to go in with you, and I'm going to keep you safe Bella promise." We get out the car hand in hand and walk towards my house. We go inside and I hurry up and grab a few pair of clothes and rush back out of the truck. Before we can even go anywhere Alice is at my door knocking on the window.
"Oh my god! Alice you scared the hell out of me. What are you doing here?"
"I thought you were dead!"
"Well she's not and we have to go there's a major threat around here."
"It's not me that the threat."
"No but we have to go goodbye Alice." Jacob says as he pulls me closer to him and throws the truck in drive and drives off.
"Where are we going?"
"My place you'll be safe there. Someone from the pack will be with you at all times." We get to his house and I go into the bathroom and change into some warm clothes. Jacob then takes me to his bedroom and he picks me up and lays me down and tells me to get some sleep. I'm so cold. I just want him to hold me.
"Jake, can you lay with me so I can warm up?"
"Definitely Bella." Jake gets in to bed with me and I cuddle with him. That night I dreamt of me and Jake together, forever, happy. I really love Jake I'm going to tell him that tomorrow.
