Chapter 11

*Bella's POV*

Today is my birthday. I told everyone no presents.
"Bella..... Happy birthday!"
"Dad I thought we made a deal. No presents."
"Well the one from me isn't wrapped so it doesn't count. The other one is from you mom. We coordinated, well she coordinated with me." My dad handed me his gift which was a camera.
"This is perfect dad." He handed mthe one from mom. I took the wrapping paper off and it was a scrap book.
"Its so you can put your pictures from senior year in it."
"Thank dad."
"Senior year, and your 18."
"Its not that old dad."
"Is that a grey hair I see?" He reaches for my hair.
"What no.... No.." I get up and look in the mirror and see no grey hair. I give my dad a death stare and get reasdy for school. I drive to school. When I get to school I see Eric, Angela, Jess, and Mike.
"Today's the big day Bella.. The R&J essay." Jess said. I thought she was go into say birthday.
"Oh yeah. Hey can I take a photo of you guys so I can out it in my scrap book?"
"Yeah!" They all say but Angela.
"I take them, I'm not in them."
"Come on get in here!" Eric said pulling he into a group picture.
"Cullen here." Mike said, he doesn't like Edward. Edward parks his car and walks over to me.
"Happy birthday."
"Don't remind me."
"Your birthday is worth celebrating."
"Not my aging."
"18 isn't old Bella."
"I'm a year older than you."
"No your not I'm 109!"
"Well maybe i shouldn't be dating such an old man." Edward give me a kiss and then he gets stiff.
"We better get to class Bella."
"Yeah." We turn to leave when he stops me.
"Someone wants to talk to you." I turn around and see Jacob.
"I'll be over here." Edward walks off and I walk over to Jake.
"Hello bicepts. You know steroids are not good for you right?"
"I'm just filling out Bella! We should hang out more! Don't you think?"
"Yeah! Switch schools then we would see each other a lot more."
"No I'm good in the revs."
"Oh I see. So why you here?"
"I was buying a part for the rapids. You should come take a ride when its done."
"Is it fast?"
"Its decent." He looks worried.
"I'm kidding Jake.. Chill."
"Okay!" We both laugh.
"Oh Happy birthday Bella. Your dad told my dad."
"Yeah thanks."
"I founthis the other day and it reminded me of you." He olds up this beautiful dream catcher.
"Its beautiful Jacob. Perfect. Thank you."
"No problem. Well I'm gonna go!"
"Yea see you later." I give him a hug and he returns it. I know Edward is watching but I make sure to not pull away first. He is so warm, and muscular. He let's go and I go into the schools with Edward.
"How come Jacob Black get to buy you a gift but I can't?"
"Because I don't have anything to give back to you."
"You breathing is good enough for me Bella."
"Well..."
"Bella!" Alice comes over to me after she jumped the railing off the stairs.
"Happy birthday!"
"Shhhhh....." She hands me a present.
"Thought i said no presents!"
"Come on I already seen you open it and you love it. You are going to wear it tonight at our place. Come on please? It will be fun!"
"Okay fine!"
"Great see you at 7!" She walks oveto Jasper.
"Jasper no fair with the mood control thing."
"Sorry Bella happy....." I give him a stare and he says never mind. I sit through stupid Romeo and Juliet with Edward watching the movie. We talk then before I knew it I was at his house talking to him about the Volturi. Carlisle was part of them ages ago, according to Edward. "Bella you are the only thing that can hurt me." Edward says facing me.
"And its my job to protect you from everyone except my sister!" I laugh and Alice come in and says we have to go downstairs. We go down and see bunch of candles. Everyone said hey and that they tried to stop Alice but didn't get far. Esme hugs me when a flash goes off.
"I found it in your bag!" Alice says holding my camera. Rosalie hands me a present and before I can open it she speaks.
"Its a necklace, Alice picked it out."
"Thanks!" Alice gets Edward and says 'show me the love', she snaps the picture. Alice then hands me another present and says this one is from Emmet. I shake it and its empty. I look at him.
"Already installed it in your truck. Finally a decent sound system for that piece of crap."
"Hey don't, don't hate the truck!" We start to laugh. Alice hands me yet another present.
"This one is from Esme and Carlisle." I go to open it.
"Ow... Paper cut!" Blood hits the floor and Jasper goes off. Edward pushed me back. I go flying into the air and land on the vases a d glass on the other side of the room. He pushes Jasper into the piano and evoke starts to hold him back. My arm is bleeding and it hurts. Everyone exits the room and Carlisle said he has to take me to his office to stitch me. I go with him and he stitches me up. Edward takes me home and it was a silent ride home.
"Its still my birthday! Can I ask something?"
"Yeah!"
"Kiss me!" Edward kisses me then pulls away he tell me I should go inside and I go. I keep tryingntoo convince Edward to change me into a vampire. He says non but I'm not giving up!
