Chapter 28

Charlie's POV

I went back home and I sent Jake a text.  Jake, Text me of anything changes.  I will try to stop in to see Bella tomorrow before work but if not i'm sorry.   I then went to get a shower.  I'm so mad at Edward.  I never want him near Bella again.  I'm going to talk to her about  restraining order against him.  She will say no but it's worth a try.  I love my princess and seeing her today made me so mad and so hurt.  I thought he loved her.  Jacob would never do this to Bella.  She is choosing right with him.  Before I go to sleep I check my phone.  There is a text from Jake.  Okay dad! I will definitely text you see you tomorrow at some point.  Jake is my son now.  He better not hurt Bella like 'he' did.  I go to bed.  

Jake's POV

I'm not liking Carlisle right now.  Every time Bella is asleep he has to come and wake her up.  It's for her safety I know but still. I hope Charlie can find him tomorrow so I can kick his ass! I should have gotten the remote to the TV before I had Bella lay down on me.  It was around 8 o'clock when Dr. Bloodsucker came to check Bella again.  He didn't wake her up this time.  "You need anything Jacob?" I smiled.  "The remote!" I said with a smile.  He gave me the remote.  "Thanks.  How is she?" I asked before he left.  "Vitals look good. She should be able to go home tomorrow some time."  I smiled and shook my head.  He left and I turned the TV on.  I was flipping through the channels.  Nothing seemed good to watch until I got to a show called Law and Order Special Victims Unit.  I saw one episode before and i liked it.  It was a marathon so I would be content till I fell asleep.  I watched two episodes and the doctor came back.  "Right on cue." I said with a smile and a little laugh.  I hate the Cullen's but if i'm going to see him I gonna try to be nice.  "Yeah, Alice is here. She wants to see Bella. I told her she was sleeping but she wants to talk to you."  I looked at him.  "Send her in."  

Alice's POV

I wanted to see Bella.  I decided to wait till later when I could sneak out of the house.  Edward felt so bad for doing what he did to Bella.  The whole family is mad at him.  It's 1:50 AM.  I left the house and ran to the hospital.  Carlisle called saying she was there.  He wanted to talk to Edward and by the sounds of the yelling neither were happy with each other.  I need to talk to Jacob.  When I got there Carlisle told me to wait and he would see if Jake wanted to see me.  I waited and it didn't take long before Carlisle said I could go back.  He gave me the room number and I walked to the room.  I knocked on the door before I entered.  When I did I saw Bella laying on Jacob sound asleep.  She looked so peaceful, and happy.  "How is she?"  I asked because he back was toward the door so I didn't see her.  "Come look for yourself."  Jacob said.  I went around the bed and when I saw her whole face I felt sick.  All you saw was bruises on the right side of her face.  I could also see her wrists.  They were also bruised.  "We tried.."   "I know.  It's okay.  I'm not mad at you guys i'm mad at him." Jacob interrupted me.  It felt nice that he wasn't mad at us.  "I hear your alpha." I said.  "Yeah." Jake said.  "Maybe we can work something out.  You know for Bella." I said before I could stop myself.  As soon as it came out of my mouth I covered it with my hand.  "I was thinking that.  Bella loves you guys like family.  I will have to bring it up with the counsel, But for now Edward needs to stay away from her."  Jacob said.  As he did this Bella started to stir.  She opened her eyes and saw me.  "Alice?"  She said.  "Bella."  I said.  She sat up and she couldn't open her right eye.  She looked so hurt.  "What are you doing here?"  She asked.  "Checking in. How are you?" She looked at me.  "Okay for the condition i'm in."  "That makes sense."  I said.  I told them about how everyone is mad at Edward and that he feels super bad.  "Well I better leave." Alice said just as Carlisle was coming in.  "Bella your awake!"  Was the last thing I heard.  She looks terrible.  I leave the hospital and run home.  As soon as I get home Emmett is outside waiting for me.  "How is she?" He asked.  "Same as when you saw her.  Vitals are stable and she woke up.  She can't open her right eye." He just looks down.  "Maybe he should go see her just to show him what he did."     "I don't know. He just better hope Charlie doesn't press charges on him.  Not like it will matter."
