Bella's POV
I wake up and I am laying on Jake. My fiance! I don't want to go to school but it is almost done. I have little less than two months. I love Jake with all my heart and he is definitely the one. We are telling Charlie tonight. After school we are going to tell him that Jake proposed. I'm going to wait till I know if this changing thing worked or not. Why tell him make him possible disappointed in me then it not work. He would never look at me the same. I look at the clock. 6:30. Ugh!!! I try to get up with out waking Jake but that doesn't work. "Sorry babe! I didn't mean to wake you." I say as I kiss Jake.
"Bella! Someone is at the door for you!" I hear my dad say. I get up and look out the window. No car. "Who?" I say as I look at Jake. "I don't know. I'll go check." I was going to stop him but by the time it all processed in my head it was to late. He was down the stairs and I was running after him. "Jake!" I yell as I finally get to the bottom of the steps. I look around then I hear yelling. I run to the front door and see Jake and Edward yelling at each other. "Out back you two!" Charlie yells as he makes them go out back because he doesn't know what is going to happen. Once they are out back they are screaming and fighting. Literally fighting like with fists. I try to move but I can't. Once my legs finally start working The boys are all over the place and Jake is about to turn, you can tell, and Edward is full on vampire. "BOYS!" I yell as I get closer and then the worst thing happens. I see Edward stop for just a second then in the next Jake is on the ground not moving. What did I just see. I run over. "NO!...... NO..... NO...... NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!" I yell as reality hits me. Edward has just killed my fiance and I can't do anything about it. When I finally get to Jake he still isn't moving and he isn't breathing. He is DEAD! "Bella i'm..." Edward says but I stop him when I run over to him and smack him. He doesn't move. He knew this was coming as soon as he did it. He just stood there letting me punch him. "Get out of my sight! I NEVER want to see you again!!!" I yell as I go back to my dead fiance. I'm balling my eyes out and I can't do anything. I keep on yelling "NO".
"Bella...... Bella." I sit up and i'm crying and screaming. I look over and see Jake alive. I tackle him. I don't let him go and he just returns the hug. "It was just a dream!" I say as I hug my fiance that is alive. "Yeah it was just a bad dream!" Jake says. He doesn't ask what my dream was. I look around and see i'm not even at my house i'm at Jake's. I look at the clock and see it's actually 4 AM not 6:30. "Come on lets go to sleep." Jake says as he lays down and holds his arms open for me to lay on his stomach. I lay down. "Does Charlie know?" I ask with out looking at him. "Yeah I told him. The day I did it I told him. He just never saw the ring." He actually asked Charlie for my hand in marriage. I'm not surprised but when? I fall back to sleep and the next time I wake up Jake is not next to me. I then recall my dream and i frantically get up. I run through the house looking for Jake. Good thing Billy is not home or else he would be awake. I finally see him outside, with no shirt on and I see the rest o the back. "what are they doing out here." I go outside and Jake looks at me. "You okay?" He asks. "I guess for waking up and finding you not next to me so I came to find you." He just looks at me. "I'm sorry. If I may ask, what was your dream about last night." I look at him. "Edward killed you!" I say as I look at him. He just looks at me. Then he comes over to me and gives me a hug. "He wont and he never get the chance. I promise." I give him a kiss then I leave because I have to get ready for school. I'm telling the Cullen's today that I'm engaged. Then I'm leaving before anyone can say anything. I go inside and I put on sweat pants and one of my fiance's hoodies. Fiance! I love that word. "Is it a lazy day?" I hear Jared ask me as he enters the kitchen where i'm at. "Yes it is." I say with a laugh. "WOW! Look at her." Seth says as he come into the kitchen. "You gonna cook?" He says I laugh. "Sure." I say. Seth leaves and when he comes back everyone followed him. "Were ready to watch master cook." They say. I smile. I take out a pan and the eggs then I take out bacon and sausage. I start cooking while I get bowls down for everybody and a plate. I take out spoons and 1 fork. When the food is done i cooked 2 pieces of bacon 1 sausage and 2 eggs. The boys just stare at me. I then get cereal down and put that in front of the boys. "Your breakfast is cereal. Hope you enjoy." I say as I take the plate with the "good" stuff on it and leave the room. I eat outside sense it is somewhat of a good day. Sun is not shining but it is 50 degrees outside. Once i'm done eating I put my plate in the sink and see that the boys are fighting over food. "I have to go!" I say. "Okay i'll take you." Jared said. "You sure bro. I don't have an issue taking my girl." Jacob says standing up. "No you have some things to discuss with the guys so i'll take our sister. I'll drive super careful and wont hurt her." Jake comes over to me and gives me a hug and a kiss. "I'll see you later." I kiss him back. "Okay stay safe. That goes to all of you." I say as I grab my bag and walk out the door followed by Jared. I got in the car and Jared drove. "So. what do you want to talk about." I should tell him that Jake changed me. "You can't tell anyone." I said. "I promise." "Jake changed me. Well i'm still changing but he did it." "No! He did it and didn't tell anybody!" "It was supposed to be a surprise but we need something to talk about so..." The rest of the car ride was talking about that. As soon as we got to the school Jared put the car in park and had a different look on his face. "What's wrong?" I asked. "There here." I looked and saw the Cullen's staring at me. I was kinda afraid to get out of the car. I opened the door and shut it. I was getting my back out of the front seat then I heard the front door open. Jared got out and was coming around to me. Well I thought coming to be but he just stood there. Right in front of me. When I looked I saw all the Cullen's coming toward me. "Stay Back! I'm not dealing with it today." Jared Said. "We just want to talk." Alice said as she came over. "We didn't think you were coming today." Emmett said to me. "Why wouldn't I" I say as I move behind Jared. "Your normally here earlier." Edward said. "Sorry had to cook breakfast for my family." That hurt Edward. I can tell because his face went sad. "Who is?" Edward asks, but before I could answer he got really mad and started coming toward me. "Your marrying him?" He was screaming I grabbed onto the back of Jared's shirt. "Yeah! I am. Am I not allowed to be happy?" I say. He was closer and was still screaming. He sped up and Jared nor I could react as fast as he moved. The next thing I knew my wrists hurt and I was no longer near Jared. Edward pinned me to the hood holding my wrists so tight. "Let me go! Ow your hurting me!!!" I screamed. Emmett was over to us before I could even finish the sentence. "Edward, your gonna break her!" He yelled. He wouldn't let go and I don't know where Jared is but he was no where in sight. I then realized I was not pinned to a car in the parking lot I was no longer near the parking lot. I have no clue where I was. All I know is that Emmett is trying to save me. Then I see Jared but he is in wolf form and he lunged for Edward knocking him over. when he released me Emmett grabbed me and moved me. "Are you okay Bella? Let me see!" He said. I think of Emmett of a brother and he treats me like a sister. By now all the Cullen's were trying to get Edward to not attack me. Jared turned back into his human form and I'm now with Alice because Emmett is holding Edward, or trying to. Every time Edward got away from Emmett I would back up. Emmett always got him back in his grasps again though. "Get her out of here!" Emmett yelled. Jared picked me up and was running. We were going so fast then I felt it. I was thrown from Jared's arms and I hit the ground. I looked just to see Edward throw Jared into a tree and Jared hit the ground and didn't move. I tried to get up but I was smacked in the face. I saw Emmett again. He threw Edward into a tree and he kept on smacking his brother. He was distracted. I crawled over to Jared and called his name. "Jared!" I said as I shook him. He opened his eyes and he stood up and he ran over to Edward, and threw Edward into a huge rock. Edward didn't move. He wasn't even in wolf form. "Sorry!" He said to Edwards siblings as he ran over to me. "It was either you or Emmett." Jasper said. Jared picked me up and he ran again. We got to the car and he put me inside the car. When I went to look in the side mirror I saw it was no right. "You need to fix the mirrors." I said as i looked and say that the other side mirror was wrong to. "Not right now. I need to get you home. Can you dial Jacobs number and give me the phone please." I did as he asked. Once he started talking I put the visor down and looked at myself in the mirror on the visor. The right side of my face was bruised in many colors. I couldn't open my eye right. I looked at my wrists and they were bruised. You could see where Edward had his fingers. They were bruised so you could. My back hurt a little from falling on it but i don't think it is bruised. My face and wrist killed me. We were speeding and we didn't slow down. we pulled up to Charlie's house. I saw the pack there. They were all standing inside, I could see them in the living room window. when they heard the care they all ran. Jared got out and walked over to my side. He opened my door. "I'm sorry Bella!" He said. "It's not your fault, you protected me as best as you could in your human form." I said as I hugged him. "What the hell..." Charlie was saying then he looked at me. He started started running to me. "Bella what happened?" Jared stood in front of me. "Easy sir." He said. Jake came out and started running. "I'm sorry!" Jared said. He kept on repeating this. "What happened!?" Jake yelled in his alpha voice which made me jump. "I tried, She got out of the car and was getting her bag I saw them walking toward her so I got out and stood in front of her. I told them to go away that I wasn't going to be nice. They started talking to her and she answered back." "What did they ask?" "Why I wasn't there earlier." I said. Jared started talking again. "She said she was cooking for family and then all of a sudden the bloodsucker yelled your marrying him and went his vampire speed and grabbed Bella and was gone. We all ran after them and when we found them he was pinning her against a rock. That's why her wrists are bruised. I tackled them and his brother started beating Edward up and I grabbed Bella and started to run so I could get her out of there but I got shoved and I dropped her. I hit a tree and the next thing I know I see Bella yelling my name and he face was bruised. I was so angry I didn't even turn I just shoved Edward into a rock and he fell to the ground and didn't get up I grabbed her than ran." "What about his family." Charlie asked as he helped me to the door of the house. "They told me it was either me who did it or Emmett." He looked at Jake. "I'm sorry I didn't do more." Jake looked at him. "You did everything you could with out turning in front of people I'm not mad at you. Thank you for getting her out of there when you did." He said as he hugged Jared who definitely needed it. I sat down on the couch and Charlie took his phone out. He left the room. Jake came over to me and just held my hand and was rubbing my wrists. Jared looked like he was going to cry and the rest of the pack looked so angry. When Charlie came back he said that Carlisle was working today and that he was taking me to go see him. Jake picked me up and we all got into my truck. Dad drove the police cruiser, Sam drove my truck, Seth in the middle, Quil was sitting on the end. The rest of the pack was in the back with me and Jake. I was laying down and everyone either sat down beside me or was standing. Paul keep on saying he was going to kill Edward the next time he saw him. Jake was also doing the same. When we go to the hospital Carlisle was outside with a wheel chair. "Bella?!" He said as he came to me. "What happened?" He asked. "Your son, that is what happened!" Jake, Paul, Jared said at once. I got in the wheel chair and I was being wheeled into the hospital. Once we got away from everyone Carlisle asked me what happened. I explained the whole story and your could tell he was very mad and disappointing at the same time. "I'm sorry he did this to you Bella. I will definitely talk to him." He always treated me like his daughter. His whole family thought of me as a daughter or sister. Well Edward thought of me as a lover. I got cat scans and x-rays and it took forever before I could see my dad or even Jake. I told Carlisle about my engagement and he was so happy for me. It was three hours being in the hospital and I could now have visitors while we were waiting for the results. The whole pack was in the room making small talk. Jake was holding my hand and my dad was talking with the pack. "I'm glad my daughter is with you guys and not them!" Charlie said. "She is our family we will all take care of her. We promise Sir." Sam said. "Billy tells me Jake is alpha now." Jake smiled and shook his head. "Yep." Everyone's mouth hit the floor. "How do you know about us?" Seth asked. "Billy told me. He couldn't keep the secret away from everyone and with Bella hanging around Jake so much he wanted me to know. I'm happy she is with you guys, I know you wont hurt her." Charlie said. Carlisle knocked on the door. "Anything?" I asked. "You have a visitor." Jake immediately got protective. "WHO?" He said in his alpha voice making me scared again. "Emmett." I shook my head yes and them Emmett walked in. "I'm so sorry Bella. I tried to stop him." He looked so hurt Jake said everything was okay, and that if he or the pack saw Edward he would kill him so he needs to stay away from Bella and the pack. He made it totally clear that he and the pack were only angry at Edward not the rest of the family. Emmett stayed and we made small talk. No one left other than Emmett. "Oh of anyone asks I was not here!" He said before he left.
Carlisle came back. He explained that I had a broken nose and that my wrists were badly bruised and that I needed to stay over night, and Carlisle said he was staying to for me. I didn't like the thought of staying but I knew Carlisle was not leaving and neither would Jake. "My soon to be son-in-law can you watch her? I have work tomorrow and I need to go home and sleep." Jake looked at dad. "Yes dad I will. Go get some sleep. If you run into Edward bring him in and call em. I want to talk to him!" I grabbed is hand. "It's just a talk. Charlie can be there when I talk to him." "Will do son." With that dad left. Jake told everyone else to go home and he said everyone could. No patrol tonight. The pack left and Jake crawled into the bed next to me and I fell asleep. Every time Carlisle came into the room he woke me up and checked m vitals. He did this every 2 hours. I can't wait till I can go home.
