Chapter 13: y/n

I was pulled to the side, and through a door. It seemed like a private dining room. The lights had a soft glow, and a huge diamond chandelier in the center. A table was set with Italian food. A bottle of wine was in the table.

I looked down at my outfit. I had on a hoodie (namely once's hoodie) and a pair of dark colored jeans with holes in the knees, and a pair of old tennis shoes. My hair was a bit tangled. I definitely did not fit in here.

The door clicked close and a familiar husky voice spoke behind me. "I'm really sorry about what I said, but I had to keep you safe." I turned around to face him. The lighting was dim but I could still see tears in his eyes.

"Keep me safe? From what!? You kicked me out and I had no place to go.." I said angrily tears forming in my eyes and it was evident in my voice.

He stepped forward wrapping me in his warm embrace. "My mother is power hungry and she won't stop unless you are out of the picture. But I swear I'll never leave you. Just give me 3 days. That's all I need. Uncle ubb will frequent to the clearing with things you need. She won't bother us anymore." He said quietly in my ear. "I promise." He pulled back and looked into my eyes, as if searching for something.

"How can I trust that?" I said, wiping tears off my face. I looked at me softly but still very solemn. His hand traveled to my neck where I had a heart shaped locket hanging there.

"Because I love you Y/N." He said and kissed me. I kissed him back. He pulled me to the table, and we sat down chatting about this and that.

Afterwards we had to separate so the plan could be set in motion. I poured not wanting to leave and head back into the cold hard ground of the clearing. He wrapped me into another big hug, twirling us around. I laughed and he caught my lips in a kiss. We stood there kissing each other. His tongue explored my mouth for a few minutes, seemingly mesmerizing the taste.

We pulled away for air before he kissed me softly once again, and again. The Lorax popped up and offered to walk me home as uncle ubb came huffing and puffing saying Isabella was close and I couldn't be seen here.

I gave once's hand a squeeze and kissed his cheek (he was still leaning down) before running off out of sight with the Lorax. We managed to make it to the clearing without any trouble, and I saw I had a couple of books, blankets and a pillow. I also noticed a jacket and some other clothes in the corner of the clearing. Uncle ubb must've visited with the Lorax to get some things here for my short little visit.

I laid down happy that everything was ok with once. I dozed off content.

Little did any of us know someone was watching us. "You will be mine y/n. Mine and mine alone."

Sorry about the delayed update. It was cold; and wattpad didn't work this morning for me to update so I had to wait a minute.. anyways I promised plot twists and I shall deliver plot twists
