Ashleys pov:
I was up early the next morning even though i hadnt been able to sleep until late last night. Today we were going to the large studio where the stage set up is so we can have some stage practice. I was clearly first here as the parking lot was empty.
I told all the boys to bring thier own cars today so there wasnt any mix up with lifts. I didnt have the time to play taxi for anybody.
I parked my car then grabbed my kit bag before wandering into the building and unlocking the warehouse doors and pushing them wide open. It was a very warm and sunny day today and this place definitely needed some cool air going in it.
Once i opened the doors i dumped my bag down and flicked the lights on. The stage was set up towards the back of the room and the sound system i asked for was at the side of the room. Keirans dv drums were set up ready for him and there was some boxes i asked for set up next to the stage as make shift steps so we can get up without climbing.
I wandered over to the sound system and turned it on before starting the mix tracks and letting them run through. " awesome" mitch grinned walking in and looking around "looks good dont it" i chuckled looking at the stage "sounds awesome too" he smiled walking over "so do you know when the others will be here" i asked "yeah we all met at the studio because some of us needed directions like me and the girls" he shrugged "how did you get here first then" i asked "phones got gps and same with the others so we just got the address and then perri had the idea of racing here and i was last to pull out the parking lot but once we hit the motorway my car flew through the gears and i sped past, i got some phone calls of complaints that its not fair because my car flew past thiers but i didnt care" he shrugged then sat down "so they should be here soon" i chuckled "yep, im sure sam was behind me then jordan" he said.
"Isnt it a bit dangerous for you to be driving fast mitchell craske" i smirked "Who care" he said rolling his eyes then flashed me a smirk. "Im sure there would be alot of people that would care" i chuckled turning the music up and sitting next to him.
"Yes i came second" perri yelled happily making me chuckle "so i heard you decided it would be fun to race here" i said folding my arms "noooooo" perri said guiltily "no speeding perri, that goes for all of you though ok"i said also looking at mitch.
Didn't take long for the others to turn up all running in to see what they came in the race. They wasnt expecting to get a lecture from me once they got here.
"Ok who we waiting on" i asked turning the music down "skys not here" mitch called from the stage where him and perri was playing on the trampoline "shes always late anyway" i said looking around "bodicias arnt here yet" terry said having just arrived "terry came last in the race" perri yelled getting way too excited "im a good driving kiely, clearly you and mitch were having road wars the way you were both weaving in and out of cars and yelling at each other on the group phone call" terry said dropping the little devils in deep trouble.
They knew they were going to get it later because they both looked at me innocently "i dont have time to yell at you right now" i sighed grabbing my phone.
"You promised to let me follow you up mitch" sky said grumpily walking in "im sorry sky, pel was being competitive" he said jumping off the stage and wrapping his arms around her. She hugged him back then pecked his lips before turning to me "oh and the bodicias asked could you call them" she said.
I nodded then quickly rang them up "hey ash, we have a big problem" one of them said when they answered "how big is this problem ladys" i sighed rubbing my face "we cant do the tour" they said making my stomach drop instantly "please say your joking ladys" i said almost hitting a melt down "we are so sorry ash, we wouldn't pull out if we didnt have to, we can help find someone else" she said "we got full rehearsals today, its way too close to the tour, if you know anybody you need to call them fast" i said then hung up.
"Whats up ash" jordan asked "guys listen up" i called turning the music off. When i got everybodys attention i took a deep breath "we got another set back, the bodicias cant make the tour and its too late to train anybody else and also its cutting it close to change the set" i began.
The boys faces instantly dropped knowing this was going to be a stressful tour "thankfully we still have sky and tayla as female dancers, my first thought was getting the juniors to help but they just wont be able to learn it on time" i said then my phone rang "two seconds" i said then answered the phone.
Everybody remained silent as i talked amd thankfully the ladys didnt leave us helpless "ok guys, looks like it's not all over" i smiled putting my phone down "the ladys have called some friends that are a group and apparently they pick up choriography fast" i said "yeah but we dont know them ash, they could be anybody" terry said "i know but we dont have a choice" i said. "This is all we got so we got nothing else to lose" i said. The boys all nodded then we got to work.
After a few hours i was losing the will to live "That doesn't look right" terry sighed rubbing his face. He was sat next to me watching the partner dancers and they were definitely off. "I know" i sighed looking down. "Ok stop" i called cutting the music.
I knew i was pushing mitch today because he instantly sat on the floor "get mitch some water" i called.
Keiran threw me some water then i jogged over to the stage and handed it to mitch "can we have a break please" he gasped after drinking the water "ok take five" i called and walked back over to the table i was sat at with terry with all the choriography papers over it and my laptop "this isnt going to work" i sighed sitting down "they just need more sessions together, they always did it alone so its just off, mitch and perri are normally in sync when they practice" terry said trying to get me to cheer up.
"Ok im going to say it now, this dance looks jank" perri said leaning on the table "because your out of sync, you need to get this dance" i said frustrated. "You and mitch need to go over it together then girls will get it" terry said "how are we going to have time" pel said raising his eyebrows "we will do it now" i said getting up.
"Mitch, on stage" i called walking close to the stage. "Mitch" i called again when he didnt get on stage. I looked around and he wasnt here "hes not here" perri said looking around also "wheres skylar" i called not seeing her either. Nobody answered me so i grahbed my phone and called skys number. Her phone was ringing from her bag so i hung up "sam, call mitch" i sighed.
He quickly picked up his phone and rang mitch for me "he isnt answering" sam said after the fourth try.
I went to start having another melt down but i spotted the side door open that lead up some stairs to the roof "are sky and mitch a thing now or what" i asked "well she stayed over his place last night and they seem to be holding hands and hugging alot" toni pipped up.
I nodded then walked over to the door and jogged up the steps. I could hear them talking about something but just before i pushed open the top stairs door i caught my name being said. "Ash should really meet this group first" sky sighed "he should but im not complaining, its the boys that are going to have new dance partners that they dont know" mitch said "tayla isnt going to like sam dancing with a random girl"sky sighed "yeah sam wont dance with a girl he doesnt like" mitch mumbled "i feel for ash though, hes looking out for everybody else and hes just getting loads of set backs, the tour starts in a few weeks" sky sighed.
"The dances are crap because nobody is concentrating, the people are pulling out because its crap and i bet the fans are going to be upset beck of the crap show" mitch grumbled.
I walked in after that making them jump slightly "we need to pull this together and talking isnt helping, get back down stairs" i said making them scramble up and run back down the stairs. I followed them down then grabbed mitch and shoved him towards the stage. "We need to be tight ok, hitting the beats is needed right now, people are paying for this and in the words of mitch and sky, thus show is crap" i said frustrated. "Ash i didnt mean it like that" sky started "doesnt matter, from now on theres no playing no messing around its work hard and play hard ok, needs to be at least a bit good" i said then looked at mitch and perri stood on the stage "you guys need to do the routine with your imaginary partners, keep in time and we will go from there" i said then motioned for terry to play the track.
I watched carefully as they did the routine totally in sync with each other with no flaws. Perri even managed a huge smile during the dance "ok that was perfect, why cant you do that with the girls, you need to watch each other and stay in time together" i said "lets do it with the girls" terry said bringing the girls over.
"Ok again, keep it together boys" i said and track played again.
It started off great then perri and tayla went off time, they were too slow "guys why did you slow down" i asked stopping them "its tayla, shes too slow on the spin then we go off" pel said frustrated "ok swap girls" i said holding my head. Tayla glared at perri then sky slapped her "leave him alone" sky warned. "Ok whats going on" i asked "nothing" tayla said then they got in position.
The track played then they got to the spin and mitch forced tayla to spin quicker whilst sky just let perri lead "ok i got it, tayla you need to let pel lead, mitch had to force you to spin then and i know perri wont do that to you" i said then made them swap back.
They did it again and it went perfectly "beautiful" terry grinned at the end and clapped "problem solved" i said happily. Rehearsals went great after that and little problems were fixed. "Are you telling tayla to make perris life difficult" i said sitting by sam. I noticed tayla wasnt letting perri lead any of thier dances and got in the way when perri needed to move "i didnt say do anything" he shrugged "what did you say then" i said knowingly "nothing, i just told perri to let tayla dance the way she wants because she was uncomfortable" he shrugged "perri needs to lead sam, keep relationships out of rehearsals" i said then stood up.
"Ok guys, thats a wrap for today, same time tomorrow ok" i called. Everybody filled out then i locked up and started my drive home. My phone buzzed halfway through the drive so i quickly answered it "hey ash, think you could meet us at dance works for a little while, it will be worth it" a familiar voice said "ok yeah sure, be there in five" i said then drove towards the studio. When i got there the studio was still open and mom was still here. I parked then walked in to find the music blaring and mom standing just inside the main studio watching some girls dance. She was grinning and bopping her head along so they must be good. I watched them finish the dance and they were definitely good. "How do you like your replacement act" mom smiled "these are the bodicias replacement" i asked "yeah they just got dropped off" mom smiled then walked out.
"Hey guys" i smiled walking in a bit more "hey" a girl with red hair smiled. They couldn't be older than twenty at a push "so you guys want to replace bodicias" i asked "yeah, they were having problems and we thought it would be nice to go on tour" the red head smiled "well ok, im ashley and you guys got alot of work to catch up on" i smiled.
"Ok well im ruby" the red head smiled "im sophie" a blonde smiled "im louise" one of the brown haired girls smiled "and im jasmine" the other smiled "at im jade" the last girl smiled with deep black hair. "What are you guys called then" i asked sitting down with them "turning point" ruby smiled "nice name" i smiled "not as good as diversity" jade smiled "well your dancing seems to be just as good" i smiled "thanks, we try" ruby grinned. "Well we don't actually practice here in this studio anymore as we are so close to starting the tour, we practice in the warehouse up past the town as we can out the stage up so if you guys want to turn up tomorrow and we will see where to start" i smiled "great, we are all for it" ruby smiled "ok great, im off now and my mum will lock up behind you guys" i smiled then walked out.
Atleast they seemed like nice girls and not some bitchy pains that i was going to have to deal with.
Skys pov:
Mitch was currently racing me and perri back to his place and he was definitely winning. He kept infront but didnt go too fsr that we couldn't see him. "Im definitely going to win" mitch said through the three way phone call "because your cheating" perri pipped up "shut up guys" i laughed over taking perri again "now your cheating" he said annoyed. I laughed then pulled up along side mitchs car. I looked over and he was looking down at his phone "how are you texted and driving" i asked "because im talented"he smirked looking over at me. He fkahsed me a wink then threw his phone down and stepped of the accelerate so he was infront of me again.
We had to slow down in the residential area but at least i was beating pel in his sporty blue car. Range rover beating an audi. Never thought i would see that. We finally pulled into the carpark and then i got out to stretch my legs.
"Yes i came second" i grinned skipping over to mitch. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist giving me a hug "you guys cheated" perri grumbled walking past us and up to the apartment. I giggled and walked up to the apartment hand in hand with mitch. Perri slammed the door closed making us laugh then we walked in ourselves.
"Pel do you want pizza" mitch yelled picking up the phone. There was silence then perris bedroom door opened "i want plain cheese with stuffed crust" he mumbled then shut his door again "knew he would talk to me" mitch smirked then ordered the pizza. "So what shall we do" i asked laying down on the couch "up to you" he smiled getting off the phone and leaning over the back of the couch "i say we watch a movie" i smiled "what movie"he asked "how about annabelle" i smiled "thought you didnt like scary movies" he chuckled leaning closer "i do but i always get scared" i smiled then he chuckled. He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to my lips before walking over to the tv and grabbing the remote. He flicked the lights off then joined me back on the couch. I cuddle into him as he found the movie on Netflix then he pressed play.
Didnt take me long to be shaking in my seat and hiding my face in mitchs chest "oh my god" i said shakily "want me to turn it off" he mumbled into my hair "no its ok" i said getting closer to him if that was possible "you sure" he asked planting a kiss on my hair "yeah im sure" i said then glanced back at the tv.
"See im fine, im not even scared" i said forcing a smile "really" he smirked obviously knowing different "im fine" i repeated then looked away from him.
I was just waiting for a scary bit to happen then the pizza man decided to bang loudly on the door making me scream. Mitch burst out laughing then the hallway light came on and perri appeared "whats going on" he asked looking at mitch crying of laughter and me not looking so pleased "she...." mitch tried to explain but continued to laugh.
Perri chuckled slightly then the pizza man banged again. Perri answered to door and payed then walked in and plopped down on the couch. Mitch was just about calm as perri put the pizza down "so what was you watching" he asked opening his pizza. I went to answer but the stupid doll had to come back on the screen making me scream again.
That was enough for mitch to crack up again "shut up" i hissed slapping his arm "what a scream" perri chuckled looking at me "its not funny" i grumbled "scared of scary movies are you" he asked munching on his pizza.
"Yeah a little bit" i said glaring at mitch. He eventually calmed down and took one look at my face to start laughing again "it wasnt even that funny" i growled eating my pizza "oh but it was" mitch laughed.
When he decided to stop being so childish we ate our oizza and chatted as the movie played in the background "jordan banjo is in the building" jordan suddenly said slamming the fromt door open. Yep you guessed it, i let out yet another scream. I was surprised mitch hadnt wet himself yet with the amount of laughing he was doing "did you just scream" jord chuckled taking a seat "we are watching a scary movie" i muttered "you alright mate" jord asked clearly amused at mitchs loud laughing "third time in the last ten minutes" perri explained.
Jord chuckled slightly then started to eat mitchs pizza "dont touch my food" mitch said suddenly serious "sorry" jord said holding his hands up. "Anyway, ash went to meet with the new girls earlier and apparently they are nice and also talented, hes talking about changing your partners because you boys are good at teaching so he wants a new girl with each of you" jord said.
"But im mitchs partner" i said "yeah, we already practiced and it will mess up us being in sync" mitch said "guys you were only in sync today, ash can do what he wants and it will obviously be whats best for the show" jord shrugged.
"I dont like that plan, tayla has just about become bearable and a new girl isnt going to be nice" perri frowned. "Im sure ash will ask us before changing the set anyway, do me a favour and take me home mitch" i said standing up "arnt you going to stay" he frowned "no i got stuff to do and you need sleep" i said pulling him to his feet "oh ok" he frowned and grabbed his keys "night guys" i called then walked down to the car with mitch.
"Whats up" mitch asked when we were half way to my place "nothing, just tired" i said with a small smile "you sure, you seem kind of down" he said "im fine, i promise" i said leaning over ajd kissing his cheek "ok" he said blankly obviously not believing me. Honestly it wasnt ok, i didnt want to change partners. I just got mitch and i can totally be myself around him and now its all going to change again. Im not the best at keeping in my feelings and him dancing with another girl is definitely going to make me green eyed with jealousy.
"Earth to skylar" i heard mitch say. I came back to reality to find the car had stopped and he was waving his hand in my face "sorry i spaced out for a sec" i said. He looked at me concerned and i brushed it off "i left my car at your place so come and pick me up tomorrow ok" i said then planted a kiss on his lips.
I went to get out the car but he stopped me "you can tell me sky" he said seriously "i know and i will when im ready" i said trying to make him relax "ok, night sky" he said "night mitchy" i smiled kissing his cheek again then running into my house.
I peaked out the window and watched him sit there for a few minutes befoe finally driving off. "Dont push him away sky, you only just got him" toni said making me jump. She didnt even bother to stay she just walked up the stairs out of sight. I groaned mentally then walked up to my room to hopefully get a good night's sleep.
