"But is he hurt ike" i spoke starting to get irritated "everything is fine, the doctor says its normal" he started before i cut him off "is mitch ok, i dont care what the doctor said" i hissed "hes still coming back to us so its hard to tell" ike said like he didn't want to tell me. I was about to answer then he cut me off quickly "hes fine, hes even on his feet now" ike spoke obviously smiling.
I let out a sigh of relief that i didnt realise i was holding then sat back down on the couch. I had pacing back and forth the living room for the whole conversation and I could see the girls were getting sick of it.
"He should be back in a few hours ok, hes fine sky we wont let anything happen to him" ike spoke then hung up. "Whats going on" toni asked. Our sleepover was in full swing in the apartment. We had found some bourd games to play and even raided mitch and pels kitchen for any food we could find.
"Mitch had a blank out, hes got a new memory" i frowned "you say it like its bad" tay sighed "it is in a way, hes more steps towards learning who he really is, the real him isnt loving me hes loving kim" i mumbled "oh cheer up sky, he adores you and he isnt going to forget that, you hear perri, he looks at you the way he use to look at kim so nothing would change" tay spoke.
"I suppose" i shrugged really not in the mood for more sleepover stuff "lets just watch a movie yeah" toni spoke putting on something from Netflix. Tayla flicked the lights off and leaned her head on my shoulder when she returned to the couch "try to wait until hes here to worry ok" she spoke pulling on a little bit of my hair. I nodded and smiled slightly just so she would stop worrying about me.
We got through two movies and we were half way into the third when i heard the door unlock. I froze and waited for that familiar comforting voice to be heared but i got nothing. Two sets of feet walked down the hall and shoes were kicked off before i finally heared voices.
"Do you think shes mad" i heard pel speak "no she wont be mad, just worried as usual" mitch spoke making shivers run through my body. I really did miss his presence in the last few hours but i cant act too desperate can i. I need him to think i enjoyed the time without him. I want him to feel like he can go out and have fun. "Skylar" i heard him call before making his way towards the living room "go on sky, run into his arms" toni teased "she was going to do that anyway" tay said sitting up tidy.
Mitch pushed the living room door open slightly and thats all it took for me to be out my seat and skidding in my fluffy socks into mitchs arms.
He wrapped his arms around me in a tight hug as i did the same to him. God it feels like hes been gone weeks "have fun" i asked quietly whilst keeping the warm hug going "yeah it was cool, i got another full show memory of limitless the reboot in the O2" he breathed "you didnt go all the way to London to look at the O2 did you" i spoke pulling away to watch his reaction "no it was ashleys surprise, we got to go in and have the arena to ourselves for a few hours" he spoke making me smile "did you dance" i asked "oh yeah" he grinned.
I smiled and hugged him again before he picked me up making me giggle "god i love you so much mitch" i mumbled not quite loud enough for him to hear "whats that" he asked turning his head to me "oh nothing" i smiled kissing his cheek. He soon put me down and looked over my shoulder at the girls "so how was your evening ladys" he asked resting his chin on my shoulder. "Full of skylar here complaining about you being gone for so long" tayla shrugged with a little smirk. "Missed me did you sky" he chuckled snuggling his face into my neck. "Tay" i groaned fiddling with mitchs hair. "Come on" he chuckled taking my hand "we will talk later tayla" i called as mitch pulled me along out the living room.
"Remember we got studio tomorrow mitchell, so go to sleep" perri called making mitch groan "yeah mitch" i mocked making him roll his eyes. He kicked his bedroom door shut as i skipped over to his bed. I lay down and sighed "im jealous of my bed right now" mitch grumbled standing about a meter from the bed "well come here and love me then" i giggled. He smiled before walking into his bathroom making me frown.
"Thanks for leaving me" i yelled "your welcome" he laughed. I decided i wasnt comfy enough so i cuddled up into his blankets and pillows. "Knock knock" toni called popping her head inside the door "yeah" i asked "can i eat your popcorn" she asked "really thats it" i asked raising an eyebrow "yep" she smiled "fine, go for it" i shrugged.
She grinned then mitch walked in, in his joggers "sup toni" he smiled before getting in the bed "guys keep it PG ok" toni smirked before leaving and shutting the door behind her. Mitch chuckled slightly until i pulled slightly at his hair. He groaned lowly then rolled over onto his front before snuggling his face into my neck. I smiled and wrapped my arm around him before pushing my hand into his soft locks. He sighed letting his hot breath hit the bare skin of my neck. I shivered slightly then his cool lips brushed along the surface of my skin. I let his lips roam for a few seconds before i pulled on his hair making him lift his head out my neck "if your going to use your lips, use them tidy" i mumbled. He chuckled then leaned up so he could place a gentle kiss on my lips "dont pull away" i groaned.
He just chuckled slightly before returning his lips back to mine. I smiled into the kiss in approval. Just when i began to enjoy the kiss more than i should, he pulled away again "stop pulling away" i groaned "make me skylar" he grinned before laying his head on his pillow.
I glared at him making him laugh "i hate you" i grumbled "sure you do" he chuckled before closing his eyes. I waited until i heard his familiar soft breathing signalling he was asleep then i slipped out the bed and into the living room where the girls were still awake and perri was laying across the couch playing xbox "you really left him" tay asked raising her eyebrows "hes sleeping so he will never know" i shrugged flopping down next to pel. "So how did it go" i asked pulling at a bit of pels hair "he didnt ask about you if thats what you want" he mumbled not paying me any attention "thats not it perri luc kiely" i said deciding to play with his hair "mitch would kill me if he knew i was letting you play with my hair" he spoke "why its just hair" i shrugged "yeah well he definitely gets jealous" he spoke.
He didnt give me time to answer him because he was getting up and turning off the tv before walking out the room "perri" i called "keep it down, mitch might wake up and find you left him" tayla hushed "hes so annoying" i grumbled.
"Sure he is now whats up" toni asked. She was definitely reading me like a open book and there was no use lying to her "mitch doesnt want to kiss me" i mumbled. "Sky he doesnt know how" toni said trying to comfort me "he does know how toni, he does it and just as we seem to be moving in sync he stops, just like that" i said frustrated "maybe hes shy" tay shrugged "mitch is many things but hes definitely not shy when it comes to me" i said bitterly "or he stops because he wants to" pels voice spoke. I instantly looked over to where his voice came from to see him sat ontop of the pool table swinging his legs. He had changed into some loose pj bottoms and an old dv shirt. "How long have you been listening" i asked "since toni asked you what was going on" i shrugged "why" i asked "because i know mitch and he doesnt do things unless he wants to and kissing you seems to be something he doesnt want to do" he shrugged taking his glasses off and wiping them "pel, no offence but your not exactly a mitch expert" tay spoke "i know" he shrugged then looked over at me "he doesnt want to kiss you so change your ways, make him want to kiss you, sam wants to kiss tayla all the time so ask her" he shrugged then left.
"Hes unbelievable" i sighed "try it, make it impossible for mitch not to want to kiss you" tayla smirked. "Hes not that easy to temp" i said getting up and stalking back to mitchs room. I kicked the door shut a bit too loudly making mitch jolt up in his bed "sky" he mumbled rubbing his eyes "just me, i accidentally shut the door too loudly" i apologised climbing into his bed "why did you leave" he asked pulling me into his side before forcing me to lay down so he could cuddle up to me "i want kisses mitchell" i wined pulling at his hair "in the morning" he wined right back.
I huffed but let him sleep anyway. "Your a pain in the butt" i mumbled then concentrated on sleeping myself but it was proving to be difficult.
When my eyes fluttered open again the sun was shining in the window. I rubbed my eyes then looked over towards mitch to see him already awake and staring at me "morning" he mumbled "good morning" i smiled. His eyes fluttered closed for a few seconds before he looked back at me and leaned down to leave a small kiss on my bare arm.
"Whats wrong" i asked running my fingers through his hair "nothing, im just looking at the most beautiful girl i know" he spoke leaning his chin on his arms. I couldn't help but smile at how cute he was being. "Your cute" i whispered tapping his nose "only for you skylar" he grinned.
"Can i have those kisses i was promised now" i asked flipping us over so i was laying ontop of him "na, your alright" he shrugged "mitch" i wined slapping his shoulder. "I dont like you" he spoke ignoring me "fine" i said getting up and walking away from him "no sky dont leave me" he wined sitting up "thought you didnt like me" i smirked before getting dressed and cleaning my teeth.
When i was done i walked back in the bedroom to find mitch still in bed "i didnt think you was serious" he mumbled sitting up "best believe it bubba, and if you want a lift from me you best get dressed" i shrugged then walked out. "Finally" toni sighed when i got to the living room "you want a lift im guessing" i laughed "are we going now" tayla smiled skipping into the room "well im not giving mitch a lift so lets go" i shrugged "so that means im giving him a lift doesnt it" perri spoke. He was throwing a ball up and catching it again whilst sprawled across the couch.
"Cheers pel" i grinned then walked out with the girls "so did you get him to kiss you" tayla asked as i pulled out the carpark. "Nope hes going to kiss me in his own time" i shrugged "really, you let him off the hook" toni asked leaning over between the chairs "hes just a boy, he can do what he whats" i shrugged "sky whats going on" they both demanded "he will kiss me when he wants to, tricking him is cruel and i want him to be who he is" i said.
They both shrugged and shared a look before going back to thier phones amd texting away as usual.
We arrived at the studio and started warm ups as others turned up. "We are here" a familiar horrible voice said. I looked up and ruby was stood by the door with her little crew "is that everybody" ash asked looking up "no mitch and perri are still at the flat" jordan spoke holding up his phone to signal he had just spoke to them "oh ok" ash spoke continuing with the set up.
We had to go over a few solo and group dances today so we decided to use the dv studio to save time and stay warm for once.
Mitchs pov:
I had gotten ready rather quick so i could catch a lift with sky but was disappointed when i found only perri was here so i was clearly going with him. "Whats up bro, your quiet" perri asked after a very quiet journey to the studio "nothing, just tired" i shrugged"you sure" he asked as we walked into the studio "yeah im fine" i shrugged then left him to go to the toilets.
I didnt really need to go, i just needed to think. Was i doing something wrong. Why is sky being so off lately and asking for affection. Do i not give her enough.
I didnt want to lose sky so i really needed to sort it out. Then again i dont know what im suppose to be sorting out. I glanced at myself in the mirror and frowned. Was i not enough for her.
My black hair was sort of flat and unkept. My eyes were heavy and my skin was pale. I looked like i had been ill for a long time. "Mitch, whats keeping you bro" i heard sam call through the door "nothing, ill be there now" i spoke turning the tap on. His footsteps faded away then i made sure to splash my face with cold water to wake up. I looked back up into the mirror and frowned. I didnt look much better. Giving up, i dried my face and walked into the studio to find practice already in full swing. I was in this dance so i quickly slot myself in and went along with the rest of them "nice for you to join us" ash spoke then continued to count.
I glanced over at sky to see her already staring at me. I flashed her a smile makings her face light up slightly before continuing practice. All the feelings from a few moments ago just melted away. She must think i was enough or she wouldn't respond like that. She always says i make her day.
"Alright cut it here" ash spoke stopping the dance "lets have rubys group preforming" ash called. I didnt waste any time in grabbing skys hand and pulling her out the room "ok where we going" she asked "wait" i chuckled before kicking open the smaller studios door. I flicked the lights on and dragged her in before setting up some music "what are you up to" she asked curiously.
"I want to speak to you" i said linking my fingers with hers "really" she asked letting me pull her closer to me "yeah" i spoke kind of truthfully. I did want to speak to her but i also wanted her to myself for a little while. "Why are you so cold" she asked "you get distracted way too easy" i chuckled kissing her cheek.
"Everything about you distracts me" she winked making my cheeks heat up slightly "you just make this easy" she giggled making me lift my head up so she could see my red cheeks.
"Ok can i ask you something" i asked wrapping my arms around her waist "shoot"she smiled fiddling with the floppy bits of my hair "when you look at me, what do you see" i breathed tying not to look at her. I felt her press her fingers under my chin and move my head to make me look at her.
Her eyes scanned my face making me nervous of what she would say "you want to know what i see" she repeated making me nod slightly "well i see a puzzle" she spoke making me frown "what do you mean" i asked "i first met you when you was thousands of pieces jumbled up in a box and in time everybody had helped piece you back together, piece by piece with alot of effort and time we all made you who you are" she spoke. I didnt know how to respond to her words. "Your an amazing dancer with a beautiful heart and the most adorable smile when you actually decide to show it off" she grinned making me chuckle "to me your perfect but the puzzle is far from finished, there are many more pieces that need to slot in to make you even more perfect and when the puzzle is complete, there wont be a more perfect human on earth" she smiled.
My heart was going way too fast listening to her words. I felt like the butterflies in my stomach was just itching to get out and escape because the room was too small for them all. It was overwhelming how much i felt like i needed her to stay with me all the time right now.
"Ill be right back ok" she spoke kissing my nose then walking out. I rubbed my face and let out a shaky breath before leaning against the mirrors "you know she called you broken right" a voice spoke making me jump. My eyes landed on the person with the voice coming from the stairs and it didnt exactly give me a good feeling.
"Hi ruby" i sighed sliding down the wall so i was on the floor "you act like your surprised to see me" she smiled skipping right over to me "well when i left the studio you were busy doing your set so im wondering how you got in here" i asked. My butterflys were definitely dying right now just from her being here. I knew sky wouldn't like me being alone with ruby. "Ash got tayla to dance instead of me to lead the girls correctly what ever that means" she shrugged sitting in front of me. I was definitely confused when she decided to start fiddling with the laces on my trainers. All that was going through my head was sky better hurry up. "So, do you love her" she asked suddenly "what" i asked confused "do you love skylar" she asked like i was stupid "why should i answer you" i spoke harsher than i was meaning to "well she loves you and shes clearly trying to get more from you, shes desperate mitchy" she said.
I shook my head quickly and kicked her hands off my shoes not wanting her to continue "stop it ruby, stop lying to me" i yelled. My head was starting to hurt now and i wanted it to stop. "Shes called you broken mitchell, she clearly thinks your off" she said getting annoyed with my reaction "i dont need your input and i dont need your opinion, all i need is my family and my crew and sky ok, just don't speak unless you are asking about something to do with work or something worth my time, i dont need you" i yelled.
"Whats going on" ash asked walking in with everybody else trailing behind "nothing" ruby started "then why is mitch yelling, he doesnt yell" sky spoke walking over and linking her fingers with me "nothing happened" i spoke keeping my eyes on the floor. I knew sky would be able to tell if i was lying so i stayed looking at the floor.
"Alright, we will talk later ok" ash spoke giving me a look then shooed everybody back out the room obviously to start rehearsals again. I noticed tayla smirk at sky before winking at her. A blush crepped onto her face and i smiled.
When tayla let the door shut i brought sky into a hug "your very huggy today" she spoke playing with the hair at the back of my head "i think im just tired" i spoke making her nod. "Can i ask what tayla was smirking about" i asked "nope you cant" she grinned pushing me away.
"Why" i wined "because you cant catch me" she smirked before running out. "Sky" i yelled racing afer her. Obviously ash had to calm the situation before it went out of control. Ash also made us all sleep in our own beds on our own meaning me and sam had to sleep without sky and tayla. Even though he knew it was proving difficult for me to sleep without her lately.
Rehearsals were intense. We moved back up to the warehouse so we could do all the dances. We ran through the whole show then had a ten minute break just to repeat it again and again and again. I cant lie it was tiring and i had to sleep every chance i got. Even pel was tired and he normally has lots to say about everything. The nerves were taking over most of us. Sam was more cranky than ever. He yelled at tayla a few times. Ash was over stressed himself. He was snapping and wanting everything to be perfect but obviously it was backfiring as everybody was tired. All im thinking is this stress better be worth it.
