More and more people sat down on Flight 11. "Attention passengers, the plane will be taking off shortly, please have a seat." Samuel said. A couple minutes later: "Just a reminder, this flight's destination is Los Angeles. Thank you and enjoy the ride." "Prepared to steer this baby to Los Angeles Samuel ?" "You betcha Lillian! I'm as ready as I'll ever be!" Samuel said. Samuel knew his pal Lillian for five years. We met in the flight training class years back, and have been friends since then. It's been great, Lillian and Samuel have been assigned to the same plane to steer all of this time: Flight 11. "Attention passengers, your pilot speaking, the plane is in the air now, soaring at an elevation of 35,00 feet. We have reached out soaring level!" Lillian said aloud. Chatter bustled through the plane. Suddenly, Samuel looked to the right to see a plane, heading towards Flight 11. "What the..." "Attention passengers, your captain speaking. We have seen another plane. We are heading back to the airport. Please stay quiet and calm and everything will be ok." Samuel said with a crack in his voice. Suddenly, without any warning, a cold black object was pressed against Samuel's back. He knew what it was. A deep voice told Samuel to steer the plane the other way. He shakily did, because he thought it would be the only way he could hopefully see his family again. Samuel glanced at Lillian, who was looking at him. She placed her hand on the distress button, but then hesitated, bringing her arm down to her side. Why didn't she press the button? We need help! Two seats down from Samuel was Patty Bulium, who made the phone call. "Listen, and listen to me very carefully. I'm on Flight 11. The airplane has been hijacked." Patty said calmly. Silence.
