Devin's initial plan was to visit his girlfriend in California. He wouldn't have the chance to do that.
Devin woke up from his alarm clock, which read 5:45am. It would leave him just enough time to get to the Newark International Airport. At 7:30, Devin reached the airport. He held a suitcase in his left hand. Devin was pumped for this vacation. He hadn't seen his girlfriend Emy for over a year and it was getting to be too long of a wait to see her. Devin waited in line for registration to get onto the plane. The plane was scheduled to leave at 8:01, but after waiting for over fifteen minutes, it was already 8:20 and the plane still didn't take off. Finally, after Devin wrapped up in line and boarded the plane, it started moving at 8:42am. Devin started to relax, knowing that he would be with his girlfriend in less than two days time. Devin fell asleep in less than 10 minutes.
