--- Kim Nari POV

I run out of the dorms with a tornado of thoughts on my mind. How did she know? Did she stalk me? Am I the reason Jungwon broke up with her? What is even going on? I've run so far that I realise I'm near Seoul Central Hospital. "Halmeoni, I need you right now," I cry as I use my pass to enter the hospital.

I can't see her right now, but I can go to my office but suddenly I get a call from the hospital receptionist. "Doctor Kim! I'm sorry for this call but..." the receptionist starts.

"What is it?" my breathe hitches, a pit building at the bottom of my stomach.

"Miss Park Eun-chae just passed away."

I instantly hang up and run pass the reception to which the girl stands up and calls, "Doctor Kim!"

I ignore her and head straight to room 675 where Rei and several other doctors are. "We're so sorry, Nari. Age got to her early," Doctor Jung tries to tell me but my ears are ringing.

I fall next to her bed and begin doing CPR. "Wake up! Wake up, please! Halmeoni! You can't go yet, you promised you'd stay with me! Please, just one heartbeat," I cry.

Rei's hand falls onto my shoulder as she whispers, "She's gone, Kimmy. She's gone."

I won't accept it, I can't accept it. I continue to perform CPR and I scream in fury and grief as Doctor Choi and Rei pull me away. Warm arms wrap around me, and I know his scent, his warmth. "Jungwon," I weep into him as he hugs me to his chest tightly.

"Nari, I'm here, it's ok," he tries soothing.

It's not ok, she's gone.

I feel empty. Like there isn't a reason for my existence anymore. She's gone. The thought continues to echo in my mind. I have no one now. "You do have people," Jungwon whispers in my ear.

Did I say that out loud? "You have Rei and Ha-eun. You have Enhypen and most importantly, you have me. I'm sorry I didn't realise earlier," he continues to hug me.

Unable to help myself, I turn to cry into his chest. It feels warm and safe, like a home. "Let's go outside, Nari."

Outside, we're sitting on the bench and my tears still can't stop falling silently. "Jungwon-ah, why do you like me? Why not Sohee?"

He holds my hands and squeeze tightly, and I look him in the eye. They're full of sorrow and love? "You're kind and gentle. You don't hold grudges against anyone, and you act in the best interest for everyone even if it hurts yourself. I don't want you to hurt yourself anymore and I don't want to hurt myself anymore. Call me selfish if you want but I love you Kim Nari and no one is going to stop me," he states so sincerely that my breath hitches.

I don't know what came over me but I give him a quick peck on the lips and I'm blushing furiously. He chuckles and brings my face back to face him before kissing me. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

I can't speak again but I nod my head as happy tears begin falling. "Let's go home, Jungwon."

--- Yang Jungwon POV

We reach the dorms quickly and as we come inside, everyone surrounds us and gives Nari hugs. A spike of jealousy ignites but I push it back down as Heeseung comes over to me. "What happened to her?" he whispers but I shake my head.

The story is for Nari to tell, not me. "Where's Sohee?" Nari asks as everyone freezes up.

"We kicked her out of course," Niki proudly states as she tuts him.

"It's late and I wanted to ask her something."

"It turns out she's been paying some people to dig things up on your past and stalk you," Sunghoon informs as he looks up from his phone. "The guy from the arcade was also from her."

My hands ball into fists and I know I'm fuming with anger right now. A small hand pats my shoulder and I turn to see Nari shaking her head at me. "Do any of you still have her number? I want to talk to her," my soulmate asks.

"Nari-" I start but she cuts me off with a squeeze.

"No, it's something I need to settle between her and I."

If you see your soulmate heading out by herself to see someone who tried to hurt her before, what do you do? You follow her discreetly of course. If your friends see you going after your girlfriend, what do they do? They join you.

"Sunoo, Jake, be quiet," Jay hyung hushes the two who are eating a bag of chips as we trail after Nari.

"Hyung, in movies, spies always have to act normal," Jake replies.

"Just keep moving," Heeseung laughs it off as we all continue to move.

Nari enters a café and is left alone for a few minutes as the hyungs, and I find a seat near them but not close enough to hear them and for them to see us. Suddenly, Sohee stands up and slams the table, "Leave Jungwon alone, he was always mine!"

Aish. Should I have broken up with Sohee earlier? I'm not an object but a human being with feelings too! Nari calmly stands up as well and retorts, "My soulmate is nobody's but his. Leave him alone and FYI, we do love each other. I love Jungwon and you can't change that."

She loves me. A smile finds it way onto my face as the boys begin making cooing sounds and I have to glare at them to shush but the smile remains. Sohee leaves and Nari turns to look us right in the eye. Her eyebrows are raised as I give her a shy smile like a deer caught in the headlights. "Wonnie, what are you doing?" she queries as she makes her way over to us.

"N-nothing. We're just waiting on lunch," I make up as the boys snicker.

Her brows raise again. "How can you be waiting on lunch when you haven't even touched the menu yet?"

I'm blushing up but she only smiles at me cheekily before giving me a quick peck on the cheek. "I need to head to the hospital now. I have a few patients to check-up on," she says before leaving us.

"Jungwon? Jungwon!" Jay snaps my attention back as everyone snickers. "You're smitten."

I can only pout, but I don't deny. I really am smitten.
