--- Kim Nari POV
"Umm, so, what do you want to talk about?" I ask nervously despite already knowing.
"Yang Jungwon is mine. He loves me and I love him so don't get in between us. I know he feels the soulmate bond, but we belong with each other. Don't try and steal him from me, bitch. He'll never love you," she insults me before finally slipping out of my room.
A cough from the other side of my bed makes me lean over to see Niki, that little maknae voice recording. "Umm, hi noona?" he waves, stopping the recording as I burst out laughing.
"What are you doing in here Niki?" I laugh as I help him up.
"I wanted to see if I left my phone charger in here cause I used to just come in here for fun. And then I hid because I heard Sohee and got mad. You know the rest," he sheepishly grins as I shake my head at the boy.
"Alright Niki but tell me next time if you wanted to come in," I tell him as he nods.
"But noona, she shouldn't have said those things to you. Do you want me to tell hyung?"
"No way! He loves her and we shouldn't do anything to bring them apart. I'll deal with it, thanks for caring Niki," I smile reassuringly but he doesn't seem convinced.
Little did I know, Niki had also recorded that.
--- Yang Jungwon POV
"Jungwon? Sorry for what I said earlier," Sunoo knocks on my door and enters as I give him a small smile.
"No, I should apologize, hyung. I don't know what came over me, Sohee is the one I love," I reassure him, but he frowns.
"Jungwon, the more you push your soulmate away, the worse it will be. You know Sohee isn't your destined. Why do you have to hurt Nari?"
"Hyung, I'm just confused. It'll be alright and soulmates are just what fate wants, not what reality is."
---
As I dance my emotions out on the floor, I can't help but be more confused. Sohee is the one I love, right? I let out a sigh as Sohee enters the room and hugs me. "Love are you alright?" she whispers lovingly as she plants a kiss on my lips.
"Better now that you're here," I sigh as I hold her.
"It's about Kim Nari isn't it," her voice cracks as I see the tears in her eyes. "Don't leave me for her will you? You know I love you, right?"
"I'm yours, Sohee. Nari can't take me from you."
---
I sit on the couch and watch my show as Jay bursts into the room. "Jungwon! The soulmate pain is happening on Nari right now, we can't stop it," Jay huffs.
As much as I know I don't want to have any relations with Nari, I don't want to hurt an innocent person. I follow hyung to her room to find her curled up and crying as she squirms in her bed. Sunghoon is attempting to place an icepack on her stomach, but he can't seem to do it. "Jungwon, hurry up," he spots me.
"It's o okay, Sunghoon. I can d-deal with this. Don't c-call for him. J-just let h-him be with S-Sohee," she barely makes out as I can see the pain wrack through her.
I hurry over to her as I give her a hug and try to control her breathing. The others slowly leave the room as I whisper, "Breathe Nari, breathe. I'm here, it'll pass slowly."
It takes away but soon enough, she stops shaking and her tired eyes meet mine as she thanks me and tells me to go to Sohee. "Will the pain come back?" I ask worriedly.
She only gives me a small smile and tells me she'll be alright before sending me out. A little feeling a the bottom of my heart makes me a little uncomfortable but I wave it off as I head back to Sohee who seems to be on the couch. She wraps herself around me tightly, as if she was scared, I'd disappear. "I won't leave you Sohee," I whisper but back when I saw Nari in pain, it felt as though my heart was tearing apart.
--- Kim Nari POV
"Are you feeling better now?" Sunghoon and Jay come over to me as I reassure them that I'm fine.
"Hey, I'm not that weak. A small abdomen pain shouldn't do that much damage," I try to raise their spirits. "Anyways, I have to head out to meet up with Rei. See you all!"
When I finally catch up to Rei in the café, she arches her brow at me and analyses me. "Tell me everything."
Before I can speak, a hand rests on my shoulder as I look up to see Yongbok say, "Tell us everything."
"Felix! You're already back!" I squeal as he covers my mouth despite us being in a private corner of the currently empty café.
"Yes, yes, I'm back but before me comes you. I heard you already found your soulmate."
I let out a sigh as I sip on my drink. "Don't tell me Jungwon is still with Sohee," Rei snaps as I tut her.
"Unnie, they've been together for months, months. It would be rude for them to just break up because of me and don't forget, they thought they were each other's soulmates," I remind her.
"So what? Don't just stay on him then, move on if you have to," Felix attempts to advise.
"Honestly, I have high standards," I sniff jokingly at him.
"Bestie, I'm sure I meet those standards but hey, I have an idea," he grins mischievously. "Rei, take a photo of us."
I smile at the camera and when she hands the phone back, I find out that Felix had turned to face me, so it had looked like he kissed my cheek. He set it as my lock screen as he took an old photo of me, Rei and Ha-eun as my home screen. "Now, if they ask, just say that you use photos of your closest friends as your phone wallpapers," he smiles brightly.
"Genius!" Rei exclaims as they high-five and I shake my head at my friends.
But really, I'm just thinking of the reactions.
---
I'm only scrolling through my socials as Jay calls for me to help make dinner together and so I leave my phone on the dinner table before going over to help. We joke around and it's nice to unwind and I know the me from a few weeks ago would freak out to know that I'm living with my idols. As we're talking, a voice coughs loudly behind us and we turn to find the one and only Yang Jungwon. "Who's this guy?" he asks, a slight hint of anger in his voice as the photo of Felix and I pop up.
"Felix, Yongbok from Stray Kids," I shrug it as he half-growls, "But what is he doing?"
"We're childhood best friends, he finally came back after a tour and we took a pic together," I explain, and I know the answer doesn't satisfy him but it's fun teasing him.
"Jungwon, it's her phone, I think I taught you better than that," Jay scolds as Jungwon reluctantly hands me my phone back.
"Tomorrow, 9 o'clock, we're going out with Sunoo, Jake and Niki. Heeseung, Jay and Sunghoon hyung have to go to a meeting and Sohee wants to stay at home," Jungwon states matter-of-factly before disappearing.
"Aish this kid," Jay clicks his tongue in annoyance before we continue cooking.
