Chapter 1 - Audition

On a busy school day, the two freshmen just exited their classroom to go to the cafeteria. Sonic and Silver had been friends since they started high school and they've been inseparable ever since they knew how similar their interests were.

Sonic was athletic and flexibel and so was Silver. They both applied to Green Hill High because they had always been a fan of the school's cheerleader team. Knowing that, they became even closer and decided to apply together if the team ever opened for recruitment.

Luckily for them, when they were on their way to get their lunch, they passed by the school's extracurricular notice board and caught a glimpse of a particular paper pinned to the board. It was a notice for the Green Hill High Cheerleading Team member recruitment.

Sonic and Silver looked at each other in shock and read the notice carefully. The new member's recruitment audition was next week and they couldn't wait to start applying. They took a picture of the notice on their phones so they will remember the details for it. They giggled at each other and continued their way to get their lunch before the bell rang.

That night, at Sonic and Silver's dorm room, Silver was busy doing his homework while Sonic was watching the TV.

The school provided dorms for students who lived far away from their parents. The dorm was free of charge as long as they fulfil the requirements and papers needed to be able to live there.

The room consisted of two separate beds placed to the right and left of the room, a nightstand in the middle of the beds, a large 4-drawer dresser to the front of the beds and a television mounted to the wall just above the dresser. There's also a desk and a chair next to the dresser. Additionally, every dorm room have its own bathroom.

Silver leaned back on the chair and stretched his arms up after he finished his assignment.

"Finally, all done!" He sighed and closed his book. He rested his head on the table and stared at his friend who was sitting on his bed. "Aren't you gonna do yours?"

"Nah." Sonic replied while still watching the drama on the TV. "I'll do it tomorrow...maybe, but you know what else is on my mind?" He shifted his gaze to his friend with a grin.

"The audition?" Silver lifted his head and smiled.

"Yes! I can't wait to finally join them!" Sonic squealed and hugged his pillow.

"Oh me too! I hope we both get in." The albino got up from the chair and sat on his own bed, facing his friend. "Who do you think will be judging for the audition? I heard the last cheer captain is replaced because she already graduated."

"Oh oh I heard it goes to our senior, Scourge! I heard it's because of him that they start to accept smaller-body boys to their cheerleading team even though it used to be exclusively for girls." Sonic explained almost in a geeked out manner.

"Wow...I bet he'll be one of the three judges. I hope he'll accept us." Silver said with a hopeful look.

"I ALSO HEARD that he's dating one of the members from our school's basketball team. Making them to be the first famous gay couple in school." Sonic added and surprised his friend again.
