Hae-Jeong was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance. Ni-ki stuck with her all through the process and called for her mother. The doctors rushed the weak body to the ICU as they performed their operations on her.

Mrs Sim burst through the door wallowing in tears and ran up to Ni-ki immediately she spotted him.

"What happened to my daughter? why couldn't you take care of her? I trusted you Nishimura, I trusted you", she cried out and soon fell to her knees
"Ma'am, I'm sorry. It's all my fault. I should have gone back for her when she walked out on me. I'm really sorry"
"Your apologies won't fix this mess", she yelled at poor kid.

Ni-ki was still just a teenager but everyone in his life always had high expectations of him, only Hae-Jeong didn't treat him like that and so he felt very bitter when this happened. He blamed himself for it all and wished he stopped her before things got messed up. 

It was currently 2:00am in the morning and Ni-ki was still awaiting the update alongside her mom. Soon the doctor came out and Ni-ki ran up to him.

"how is she?"
"She suffered a mild concussion that made her loose consciousness. Right now she's fine but has a bit of a headache and thank your stars it wasn't a hard knock if not she may have had memory loss"
"Thanks so much doctor"
"Oh, do you know if she had a leg injury or pain before she got into the accident?"
"Uh yeah, she tripped on a log of wood"
"Oh okay"
"Anything wrong?"
"Don't worry about it kid, you can go home. Let me speak to her legal guardian"
"Oh sure"

Ni-ki ran up to Mrs Sim and woke her up. Mrs Sim ran up to the doctor and told Ni-ki to go home. After all, there was school that day. Ni-ki walked out the hospital feeling drained.

"What did you do to my sister", Jake held Ni-ki once he saw him
"I know it's my fault, I'm sorry", he said sulking
"I trusted you with her and this is how you repay her", Jake harshly pushed him away and ran into the hospital.

Ni-ki felt awful. It wasn't the first time he was blamed for something terrible but this incident hit deep in his core. He went home and tried to prepare himself for the next day.

Meanwhile at the hospital, the doctor went in with Mrs Sim and soon after her brother joined in.

"Ma'am, it seems your daughter has a bit of stress fracture in her right leg", the doctor said
"What do you mean sir?", Mrs Sim confused asked
"For example, a leaking bottle; the water in it would spill a little but when it's not gotten rid of immediately, will continue spill resulting into a large amount of water. That's what happened to your daughters' leg. According to the tests, she had a slight leg injury but ignored it and her incidence finally worsened it. Therefore, she can't walk for about 8-10 weeks but with immediate action, she would be alright within 6-8 weeks".
"so she's handicapped?" Jake asked curiously
"Yah! don't call your sister handicapped", Mrs Sim shouted and hit him hard "she'll recover soon, didn't you hear."
"Exactly, so please keep an eye on her for a while. She'll remain here for about 2 days for some quick check up then we can administer her medicine for quick recovery alongside her physical rehabilitation center", the doctor added.

_ _ _At around 2:0pm in the afternoon_ _ _

Hae-Jeong woke up to an unfamiliar place. She tried to recall what happened but her crucial headache won't let her so she groaned in pain.

"You're awake", the patient beside her said

She looked to her right and was met with a guy who welcomed her with a smile and pokable dimples. Hae-Jeong sat up to get a better view of everything

"I'm Jungwon and you are?"
"Hae-Jeong", I replied
"So why are you here?" he asked
"I think I had a bit of a forest accident", she said groaning in pain as she tried to remember
"Yikes"
"How about you?", she asked curious to why an innocent guy was sitting amongst the hurt people.
"Funny story actually. A friend of mine and I tried to ride a bike down the hill and I got hurt"
"Ouch", I chuckled
"Oh yeah, a guy came by with your mother I think to see you but you didn't wake up so they left for their daily activities"
"oh that must be my brother"

She was slightly hurt cause not even one of them stayed by her but it was something natural you would see in the Sim family. It's all about business and hardly about the family. she sighed

"Why the sigh"
"Oh nothing. Did your friend come to see you?"
"Oh yeah, he actually just left to get something to eat", he replied
"That's great"
"And why aren't your friends visiting?"
"Maybe cus I wasn't up yet. I'll message them to see"
"Okay cool"

She took her phone before she remembered it's still around school hours so she didn't stress about it again. She decided to just wait until she was discharged the next day before she meets up with them, for the rest of the time in the hospital, she used it to get to know her fellow partner in her situation.

_ _ _The next day_ _ _

"it's sad you're leaving when we only just started to know each other"
"I know Jungwon but maybe we'll meet again. Right now, just focus on getting better", Hae-jeong replied
"Sure and you too"
"Bye", she waved to her friend as she went up to the car.

"Ma'am, would you like to stop somewhere before we head to the house?" her moms' personal assistant asked.

Hae-Jeong shook her head a 'no'. She was going home alone on this fine afternoon, her parents were busy and her brother was probably attending classes so her mom sent her assistant to accompany her as she went home. She didn't seem joyous as any normal patient would, once they are finally out of the ill building they refer to as an hospital, Hae-jeong still saw herself going to have to revisit there for her physical rehab. She tried to look positive and decided to call some of her close friends over to get her mind off the incident.

She waited for her friends' reply but no answer so she decided to ask the love of her life. Ni-ki read it and immediately accepted. They both agreed on the location and time. Finally, Hae-jeong mind was at ease.
