Lee Heeseung pov

What a stressful day today has been. I removed my shoes at the doorstep of my apartment and walked in.

"Hey cousin" Jay called out
"What are you doing here?" I questioned
"Can't I just decide to stay at my cousin's place?", he scoffed
"How did you even get the passcode"
"Your mom was of great help" he replied
"What do you want?"
"Relax man"
"FIRST, your brother came over 2 weeks ago now you."
"Oh maybe cus your apartment is just really nice and big enough for all of us. Besides we could bond, we all never got along really well anyways"

I scoffed and went up to my room

"Hee! What did you buy that was so much with my card yesterday?" Sunghoon yelled
"Just some stuff" I said and walked away
"Yah!" He called out but I ignored the fellow and walked to my room "YAH!" I shut the door.

Another stressful day I thought to myself as I off-loaded my body for the night. 

"Mom, why did you give Jay my passcode?" I said over the phone
"Can you stop being a wimp and bond with your cousins"
"Allowing Sunghoon wasn't an easy task and now Jay?"

"Heeseung! how dare you use my car?" Sunghoon yelled from downstairs

"Do you not hear how much noise they're making"
"Relax my son, just let them into your heart once again"
"It's no use talking to you", I ended the call

"Lee Heeseung, do you not hear me?!" He threw some bangs at my door "Lee Heeseung!"

"Ugh What is it?" I opened up the door
"First my credit card and then my baby?"
"It's going to be OUR baby and card if you're living with me. Think about it, I gave you a roof over your head so you should be grateful"
"Ugh but at least let me know so I could prepare my mind"
"I'll try to remember that" I said walking past him

I was craving a light meal and decided to make some cereal.

"Why are you even here again?" I questioned Jay
"Dad probably sent him out of the house" Sunghoon said
"He did it to you too"
"So my house was the next option?" I questioned
"Did you expect us to go to our mothers' house?" Jay replied
"Oh that'll be worse. She'll start talking about who got custody and why we are his responsibility"
"Look, I'm sorry your parents are divorced but I'm not responsible for their children"
"That's quite mean" Sunghoon replied
"I have no idea why you're so cold to us anyways" Jay said
"Speak for yourself, he gave me a roof to live under and I'm not ready to leave yet"
"Wait, you both are quite rich, just rent an apartment or get a hotel or suite or something, why my house?" I questioned again
"It's better to save money when there's a plan B" Jay replied
"Exac'"

"WHO FINISHED THE MILK!" I yelled

"it was jay"
"Illiterate, I left it in your hands"
"It was still remaining-"

"I honestly don't have time for this, today has been a heck of a day for him. So Sunghoon get into your baby along with Jay and go get more milk from the convenient store nearby" I said and went to bed on an empty stomach.

Park Sunghoon Pov

"Why is the kid so ruthless anyways?"
"Jay, he let you stay in his apartment despite everything, to the very least, be grateful"
"Whatever"
"We're here", I parked the porsche and came down with Jay.

"Oh Mr Porsche! It's nice to meet you again, please let me treat you-"
"Mr Porsche?" I questioned
"Oh sorry I mistook you for someone else" she said walking past us with her head held low

"She looks familiar" Jay said
"I was thinking the same thing too" I replied
"I think she's" he gasped "Oh, I remember her now" he chuckled and turned around

The way he chuckled doesn't always mean good, I decided to follow him to prevent anything bad from happening

"Sim Hae-jeong!"

Sim? I've heard that before

"It's nice meeting you again? when did you get back?" Jay smirked walking towards the ignorant girl.
"I'm talking to you" he said turning her around aggressively "have you lost your manners since you left?"
"J..J...Jaayy... please let me go", she stammered, breathing unevenly
"I haven't even said anything, you're already in fear", he scoffed and moved closer to the terrified little girl as she moved back

"Jay, leave her", I stepped in
"Mind your business bro"
"Can you not cause a scene right now" I tried convincing him
"relax, I just want to check up on little Miss Sim here"
"Since you know her, you'll meet her again. Now can we go"
"Whatever, see you soon kid" he smirked again and walked away

"Thank you" she said to me before turning away
"Wait! do you have a brother?"
"Yeah" she said turning back
"Jake? son and heir of THE SIM enterprise?"
"Yeah, I guess"
"Oh wow, well tell your brother Sunghoon says hi" I said and walked into the convenience store.

"Jay that was so uncool what you did back there" I said to him once I caught up to him
"Why can't you mind your business?"
"Do you know she's the daughter of dads' new partner?"
"Oh, it's a SIM enterprise now, I forgot"
"Jay, I'm serious"
"It's not my business. The less I care, the less I get involved. He'll soon try to marry one of us like we're his business tool"

I sighed, he's not wrong. Dad would do anything for his profit, he did it with my mom.

"Oh the Park brothers" Sunoo said as we reached the counter "fancy seeing you here"
"We're here on behalf of Heeseung so the discount please" I smiled sheepily
"He's making us run errands like we're his maid" Jay added
"It's not like you still can't afford it anyways" Sunoo said scanning our items. "Done, goodbye"
"Thanks" I said walking out with the groceries, back into the car and off to our temporary house.
