Sim Hae-Jeong POV

It's been 2 weeks since I haven't been in school but rather at the physical rehab center. Honestly, with Jungwon by my side, I've been coping real good. Although I for some reason can't reach Ni-ki or Eunchae but since I'll resume school tomorrow, I'll surprise them with my arrival.

"Why are you all smiley, it's not like you won't still come back after school"
"It's been a long time since I saw my soulmates so I'm excited", I replied to him
"I understand, you've been counting down the days since we started. Good luck tomorrow"
"Thank you"

We talked some more before we went home.

"Jungwon", A guy yelled from afar running up to us
"Oh hey bro, had no idea you were coming"
"Yeah, Sunoo just told me your story, you alright?"
"Yeah. Oh meet my friend Hae-Jeong" he introduced me to his friend
"Oh" he gave me with a judgey look before speaking "have we met somewhere?"
"I don't think so", I replied
"Don't mind his response, he's Hee-"
"Just call me Lee if we'll ever even meet again. I'll wait for you in the parking lot Jungwon" he said before walking away.

"Well that certainly was friendly", I said sarcastically
"Forgive him, he's more of a private person"
"I get it"

Jungwon obviously had to go so we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways.

_ _ _ The Next Day_ _ _

I wore something casual and took my crutches along. I could do without them but the doctor said I'm being repulsive with that statement so I took it just in case. Excited, I took a bus this time to school.

I arrived at school and I had a nervous feeling. I wondered why, it felt like the first day of school all over again. I walked into my class to be greeted with stares. A usual thing but this time they made me nauseous. I sat towards the window to avoid attention and got on with classes.

It was Thursday which meant I didn't have classes with Ni-ki and Eunchae till after lunch and it for some reason seemed hard passing by any of my friends.

"Awn, you're back so soon?" Wonyoung said walking towards my seat
"Oh you missed me, I'm sorry I couldn't return the feeling" 
"As if" she said and rolled her eyes "You really should have not bothered coming, it'll be quite sad for you"
"Ugh, please go"
"I'm just warning you. Oh, do Eunchae and Ni-ki know you're here?"
"What's it to you?", I questioned her
"Oh nothing", she said and chuckled past me

What a weirdo

"Wonnie, are we meeting with Eunnie for lunch today?", Liz called out as she went up to Wonyoung

Eunchae? Wonyoung? meet? for what? I had so many questions

"Yeah, she just texted me infact" Wonyoung replied to her friend

Texted? but she won't even read any of my text. Everything was beginning to make me really nervous and confused. I had only been gone for barely a month and it's like I'm a stranger at this school.

"Oh, you're back?" Haerin walked up to me at the bench outside
"Yeah"
"You don't have anything to say to me?"
"What?"

she scoffed

"Dude, you got in the hospital cus of my dare"
"Yeah, I really should have sued you but it was just a game, besides I agreed with it"
"Well thanks for not suing I guess"
"Whatever, oh do you know where Ni-ki is?"
"You still haven't met him?"
"It's just a question, answer, why is everyone making it seem so complicated"
"Because Jeong, you've been gone for a while and things move on okay?" she said and walked off.

That was it, I was going to look for Ni-ki before I could complicate my mind. 

"Yo handicapped! you're the one who crashed my party right?" Jay walked up to me cornering me to my locker
"Crashed? I was clearly invited"
"That's no way to talk to your seniors child" Beomgyu showed up beside him
"So what? are you going to hurt me? be reminded if you do so, expulsion or another suspension is on the line" I replied trying to defend myself
"WOW I'm so scared" he scoffed and moved closer, pinning me to my locker, his head looking down at me with an intimidating stare

"Listen up Sim, I could never get kicked out no matter what, so if you know you still want a peaceful life here, watch your pace. Do I make myself clear?"
"I can't hear your response"
"I heard" I said frightened
"Better" he replied throwing his empty cup at me

As you all know, stares were common to me but this time the gossip ones; really mean ones. I won't even be surprised if there was a video. In fear, I walked through the crowd trying to find the bathroom in my tear-filled eyes. I opened any door that seemed private but I wish I didn't

"Wait stop" the girl said "Hae-Jeong?"

Shock hit me like a bullet, Eunchae was making out with my boyfriend. Was today going to get any worse? and like any american series, that statement brings more bad news

"Oh, this is actually even good. So as you can see, I moved on. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier" he said to me
"You know what save it. Have a great relationship" I said and slammed the door shut.

I ran all the way to the school gate and out. I didn't even care about my bag or books, I'll ask my brother to get it for me, today was just not my day. I just wished to be in my room and remained locked in there. At least if I can't solve my problems, I'll run away from it. 

Hot tears streamed down my cheeks as I walked towards my house. My eyes began to hurt along with my heart and a lot of headache but I kept running on my bad leg. Soon, I met the darkness from before.
