Park Jays' POV

We made our way through the massive garden of the house, Sunghoon and I side by side making small talks.

"Do you think both our real mom and step-mom will be here today?" Sunghoon asked
"We'd have to see for ourselves" I replied

We walked into the main area where most of our family meetings are held. Grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles and finally our parents were seated.

"Took you long enough" Mrs Kang a.k.a the step-mom said
"Good to see you again step, how's the empty house treating you?" I asked and smirked.

Sunghoon nudged me to stop and soon he pointed out mom to me. We walked up to her to stay near her and try to catch up.

"Okay let's begin" Dad said stepping up on the little elevation near the wall.

"You never resist having a shot at someone" she smiled at me
"I guess I take after you" I replied
"How are you boys?"
"We're fine, we stay with Heesung" Sunghoon said
"He's fine with that?"
"Well, we kind of forced it on him with his moms' help" he replied while she mouthed an 'o'
"And how are you ma'am?" I asked
"I'm going back to Busan to stay with my sister for a while"
"Our aunt?" I asked
"You shouldn't say that here. You know how brutal this family can get. I'm glad they didn't disown you because I wouldn't be able to feed for all of us. I can barely handle myself"
"Struggling financially? you didn't tell me. I would have helped" Sunghoon quickly said
"I'm okay, no need, my kind son. Just stick with your step-mom, just do it for me"
"We'll try" Sunghoon smiled

"That smile is so fake" I whispered to him
"Just shut up" he replied

After the quick catch up, we decided to listen to the boring speech of 'dad'

Lee Heesungs' POV

I walked over to my parents as soon as we walked in

"Tell me why we need this gathering again?" I asked my dad
"Why weren't you answering your moms' texts?" He asked
"I forgot" I replied and sat in between them
"How are you son?" she asked
"I'm alright" I said before taking my gaze off her.

"As we all know before I make a public announcement, I make these meetings so I can properly arrange it to fit every necessary person's agenda or schedule. So after this, if you have some coincidences please talk it out with my Mr Seokjin for him to make it work out. 

This announcement goes to the adults as well as the young ones. The Park enterprise wants to hire new workers and we decided to let family members apply for it but do bear in mind that any backlash such as "he/she only got it in due to it being a family business" we would not release any statement to back you up. Therefore apply at your own risk"

That was all that benefited me in this meeting. The job, I'm applying. It was like fate, it just happened at the right time.

"Afterwards, we'll be holding a small party to welcome the workers that successfully make it. In this party the following people must be available: My sons and Kang Haerin..."

I forgot that extra kid existed. The step sister of the Parks who obviously didn't like being here. Of course I was part of the people that must be available, Now I have to shop for some suits both for work and the party.

I'll keep searching, you never know what can happen
