A long and messy day for Taylor

It's already been two weeks since Taylor send the cassette to Maroon, almost one week since it should've arrived at hers and just over a month till Taylor wants to announce midnights, which means that her album therefore then has to be finished.

Though all of Taylor's thoughts are about the announcement of "Midnights" till now it hasn't accrued to Taylor that Maroon might like a song about her on the album. Only then in that exact moment in the fully grown woman the question 'What if Maroon hates the song and now also hates me?' full of fear creeps up.
While Taylor just thinks 'What will I do if she doesn't like it?' and 'Does she hate me now?' she doesn't notice the bell ringing just until after it rang probably over 6 or 7 times.

Before she had even a chance to run to the door, Joe opens it and accepts the package from the mailman as Taylor sees it when she finally arrives at the door step.
A fast sight on the package, noticing it's nothing she could've ordered and a quick "Hello" to Tim as she takes, well more of snatches the package out of Joes hands and runs up the staircase as if the package like a child without noticing the "What's up, babe" and "I think that's my package Taylor!" from her boyfriend.

When arriving in her cozy bedroom she doesn't even search for a scissor but rips the packaging right open without spending one sight on the actual recipient of the package. While realising that the package contains stuff for men, in side view she finally sees the name for whom the package is actually for.

After her mind finally realised the package isn't from Maroon, tears slowly begin forming in her blueish eyes though they never find their way down. That's not because she gets happy again out of nowhere but a quick wipe of Taylor as Joe unannounced enters the room. While Joe walks through the room while maybe searching for something she thinks 'every second he'll ask what's up with me' though instead with every single one of the 13 seconds that past that thought becomes a hope and in the end just a dream.

Even though she never thought that her relationship could turn from a dream into a relationship that almost has nothing on common with how it once was it is now a reality that Taylor doesn't want to see. As her heart doesn't want to face the truth it tell her that 'Well every relationship has its ups and down', while her mind says 'Joe and you are like prisoners tied together with a smile for the press. Just for the sake of the headlines that would be if they broke up. Just for the sake of the media. Not for the sake of love' and 'the flame of Joe and you has been out since ages and he never was the one'.

After taking a quick shower and her wandering through all these thoughts she makes her way to the couch looking for a good book she can read she finds the "exes book" as Taylor likes to call it. Then with a flashback she remembers 'the one' or 'the love of her life' as she once thought about the others. Not just other boys, but well girls. The girls she once shared everything with. One was Karly and there is still the other one. The one she wrote Maroon about. The one she was tied together with a smile though still without chains. The one she was tied together with a smile of love.
As Joe doesn't seem to mind her absence from their bedroom and no good book she could read she takes the car keys, puts a coat, her red scarf and some shoes one.

Though surely some paps wait outside her home in the dark for a good picture of her, with her pyjamas just on covered by her coat she walks into the garage, starts the car, opens the garage door, drives right through the lights and heads to, well not quite something near but to someone far away, really far away. Though in her heart that person is right by her sight.
