Third Person POV

"So. You want to join us?" Dabi asked.

Hawks nodded. "I believe that hero society is corrupt. It needs to be reformed and through your organization, that's possible," Hawks stated.

Dabi chuckled, "That's one of the most outrageous things I've ever heard. The number two hero wants to join a villain organization."

Hawks took a deep breath and said, "What can I say? I believe in your cause."

"And about your niece?" Dabi asked with a smirk, "I mean, you must know that we were the ones to do those things to her. Word on the street is that you're very protective of her."

Hawks sighed and said, "I don't really care much about the kid, only reason I take care of her is because my deadbeat of a sister pawned her off to me. I haven't even known her for very long, only reason I treat her so good is to keep up public image."

Dabi smirked and walked forward, challenging the hero. "So you don't care that I was the one who did most of the torturing?"

Hawks' breathing faltered slightly, but he shook his head. "Like I said, I don't have much of a connection to the kid. She's kind of a brat if I'm being honest."

Dabi stared at the hero for a few moments longer. He decided to take that answer and began instructing Hawks on what he must do to prove that he truly believes in the Liberation Army. All the while, Hawks was silently cursing the Hero's Public Safety Commission.

Days before...

"I'm sorry, I think I misheard you. You're telling me that I have to infiltrate the League of Villains...? The people who kidnapped and tortured my niece. And you want me to convince them that I believe in their cause and want to support them?" Hawks asked, furious.

"I'm sorry Hawks, but for the good of the nation, you must."

Present day...

Hawks stared at the villain before him and felt only rage. He wanted nothing more than to tear him limb from limb for what he did to his precious Fuka, but he couldn't. The fate of all of Japan was resting on his ability to keep up this façade.

However, when the mission was over, Hawks swore to be the one that ended Dabi.

Tanaka's POV

I was relaxing with Katsu and Eri when Midoriya came running down the hall. "Tanaka! You have to come see this!"

I got up and followed Midoriya, Katsu and Eri on our tail. We entered the common room and I noticed the crowd surrounding the TV. "What's going on?" I asked.

Everyone turned to me with concerned looks on their faces. Todoroki then came around the corner being led by Yaoyorozu and Uraraka. Todoroki and I looked at each other questioningly before the TV screamed, "Endeavor is down!"

Our eyes widened and we rushed to the TV to see Keigo and Endeavor fighting a strange looking nomu. "Kei!" I exclaimed, kneeling beside the TV.

I watched as Keigo flew around to stop smaller nomu. 'Please be ok...' I thought to myself before my gaze wandered to Todoroki. He was gritting his teeth, listening as people worried about Endeavor. That was until a boy with pink hair and a scarf started screaming about how Endeavor was risking his life for their sake. How his flames were still firing, so he was still alive. I put a hand on Todoroki's shoulder and watched as the news flipped to a helicopter perspective, showing both of our respective relatives. Keigo used all of his feathers to propel Endeavor further, shooting him into the sky to burn up the nomu. "I'm watching old man!" Todoroki exclaimed.

"Come on!" I yelled.

There was a lot of smoke, so the news wasn't able to find our relatives. "A-are they ok?" I asked.

Todoroki sat beside me in silence, his eyes glued to the television. Then, "Wait! There he is!"

The video cut to an image of Endeavor faintly standing above the nomu, his hand high in the sky. Keigo then ran to his aid and I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding, my hands travelling to my face. Several pairs of hands grabbed my shoulders, reassuring me and making sure I was ok. That was all until...

"Should I say nice to meet you...? Endeavor..."

A flash of cruel, heartless turquoise flashed through my mind. My face paled as my heart dropped. All I could see was his cruel expression. All I could hear was him. My scars began to ache. I could feel his cold, lifeless hands on my neck and my arms. "N-no..." I whispered.

I felt rough hands grab my shoulders, causing me to curl up and cry out, "Stop!"

I slammed my eyes shut, but the image of him refused to leave. I couldn't breathe, the feeling of his cold, disgusting hands choking me. I began to claw at my neck, desperate to make him let go. Then...

A hand touched my cheek. A small hand, smaller than Dabi's. A soft hand, softer than a pillow. A warm hand, warm like a gentle flame. I opened my eyes and saw kind and gentle ruby eyes. I stared into the eyes and the feeling of Dabi's hands faded away. My hearing was no longer filled with his sick laughter, and I could make out a voice. The voice was soft. Small.

"Fuka?"

I didn't even realize it, but my breathing had slowed. It matched hers. "E-Eri?" I asked.

Eri then launched herself into my arms. "You scared me!" she exclaimed.

I hesitantly rested my arms around her, allowing myself to melt. I looked around and saw that the entire class was staring at us at least a few feet back. I looked down in shame, burying my face in Eri's hair. "I'm sorry..." I whispered.

"What happened...?" Eri asked.

A lump formed in my throat. I didn't have the heart to tell this innocent six-year-old what had happened to me, and that the villain on the TV was the one who did it. Aizawa instructed my classmates to leave the room, allowing us space. They did as he said, several of them very unwilling to leave, but knowing that Aizawa and Eri could handle it. When everyone was gone, Aizawa walked up and knelt beside Eri and I. He sighed and said, "Eri..."

Eri turned to face him and he said, "I'll explain more when you're older, but all you need to know is that she was taken by the villain on the TV and that he did bad things to her."

Eri gasped and snapped her attention to me. I watched as her eyes trailed down to the burn scars littering the parts of my body that she could see, tears forming in her eyes. She then tackled me in a hug and cried, "I'm so sorry!"

My heart split in two as I returned the hug. "I-it's ok, Eri... it's ok..."
