Coachella
Today is the day of Coachella & they wanted me to headline it so here we are. I have sound-checks in 2 hours so I need to get out the bed now. Nicki is still sleep & blue is laying on her chest. Somehow we watched cartoons last night with Blue & they left me up all by myself so I am super tired but I have to make this money.
I got out the bed & went to do my daily morning routine. After I was done I put my hair in a messy bun & threw on some black sweats with an Ivy Park crop top that I made a while back. I kissed Nicki & Blue waking them up.
"Goodmorning my babies." I said as they said goodmorning back. "Today is the big dayyyyy. Are you excited?" Nicki asked. "I'm excited but nervous at the same time. Like what if someone messes up? What if someone falls? Hell what if I fall? You know how I am bae I love for my shit to be perfect. I'm kinda stressed out about it. We've rehearsed this for like 6 months now. They better know this shit." I said as she nodded in agreement. "I understand baby but you have to just calm down & breath. Everything will be fine. I'm pretty sure everyone knows not to mess up or that's their ass. Just get on that stage tonight & let loose. Just have fun baby & stop worrying. & besides we're gonna be watching front row so make us proud, something that you do everyday." She said as I smiled & loosened up some.
"Thank you baby. That's means a lot. & you're right I have to stop overthinking." I said as she nodded. "Glad you came to your senses now what color are you rehearsing in? Pink or yellow?" She asked as I shrugged. "I don't know. I really like the yellow so I'm thinking ab doing the sound checks & rehearsals in the pink uniforms." I said as she nodded & started typing on her phone.
"Okay so I texted the stylists & makeup artists to let them know that you'll be coming in a little later due to you having rehearsals." She said as I kissed her. "Thank you. Now I have to finish getting ready so I can be on time. Are you going?" I said as she nodded. "Yeah you go get ready & I'll get blue ready." She said as I grabbed my things & went in our bathroom.
Nicki pov
I went to Blue's room & saw she was still asleep so I picked out her outfit. Once I had everything ready I ran her a bubble bath. "Wake up blue." I said shaking her lightly. She sleeps just like Bey. "Nika?" She asked sleepily. "Yeah baby it's me. You have to wake up. Mommy has to perform today." I said as her eyes fluttered open & I chuckled. She love seeing Bey perform on stage.
Once she was out the tub, I cleaned it & dried her off. I helped her out her clothes on & i put her hair in a bun with a yellow bow. "Okay come on let's go get your shoes & a jacket in case it gets cold." I said as she ran off into her walk-in closet. I picked her some yellow & white dunks to go with her outfit.
After I found her a jacket to go with it I put it in her lil backpack. I packed snacks & an extra outfit for her just in case she gets hungry & her clothes get messy.
"Okay sit here & watch tv. I'm gonna go get ready now. Beyoncé should be out soon." I said as she nodded. "Tank you." She said as I giggled. "You're welcome princess." I said. I made sure she was okay before I went upstairs. I saw Beyoncé coming out the bathroom. "Blue is downstairs watching tv. I packed her backpack with snacks & an extra outfit. I'm gonna go get ready now." I said as she nodded. "Thank you baby." She said as I smiled.
After I was done with my shower I fixed my hair & put on perfume, lotion, and deodorant. I grabbed my purse & put on my lipgloss. I didn't put on makeup bc I was going for a simple look bc it was gonna be dark anyways. I got my lashes done a few days ago so I didn't have to do much.
Once we were all done I grabbed the house keys and we waited for the limo to pull up. "Here hold my stuff I gotta go get a jacket." I said handing Beyoncé my phone & purse. It was a lil chilly so I went back in the house to get my coat. When I came back I grabbed my purse but I didn't see my phone. "Where's my phone?" I asked as Beyoncé shrugged. "Go look for it. Cheater." She said as I looked at her confused. "What the fuck you talking about?" I asked as she scoffed. "Don't worry about it Onika. Your phone is in that bush over there." She said as I sighed & walked to the bush & got my phone.
