Being a new scientist is odd. Especially when the lights go off. Which literally just happened. I could only hear my own heavy breathing and faint screams. People were dying, or getting infected. I hate this place so much. But something told me to continue walking. I entered a room with a storage area, pointing my flashlight everywhere, looking for any gootraxians.
Guards never do their jobs here. Aren't they supposed to be containing the subjects? Anyways, I then saw a faint blue light. I walked closer to it and noticed a pair of headphones on a shelf with a blue outline. Listening to some music might be cool. I took the headphones and put them on. I felt something..like it molded onto my head. I brushed it off. But it did fit perfectly...
I then noticed the only song that would play was a crappy energetic one. Couldn't even connect it to my phone. It wouldn't show up on bluetooth then I felt it. A gooey substances going down my head. I screamed, but the goo entered my mouth. I couldn't scream anymore. I tried to get it off even though I was blind from it. Then it spread to my hands from what I saw. I felt dizzy. Really dizzy. Then it all went dark.

I was awoken. I slowly opened my eyes and remembered what happened. I looked around and noticed the lights were still off, but a blue glow emitted from..me? Was I one of them? I looked at my hands, now paws. I was one of them. But..maybe it won't be so bad. You know..I think I like the new me.
